Sugar Plum and her sister had been chained out in a back yard without shelter. They were skin and bones, and the Humane Society took them away from their former owners. These sweet puppies arrived in the Northwest scared and totally untrained. But as they are puppies, only about 7 or 8 months old, they began recovering quickly. Sugar Plum is now discovering the joys of living inside a house, eating great food, and getting lots of cuddles. She is wonderful with the other dogs in her home and is really curious about cats, but doesn't quite know what to do about them. She likes people - especially if they give her treats - and she
loves to run! After living on the end of a chain, having the freedom to run is wonderful for her. But she never runs so far she can't dash back to her foster mom. Sugar Plum knows her name and comes when called. She is trying hard to be house broken but still needs some work in that area - she's getting better every day! Sugar weighs about 12 pounds and will be about 14 pounds when she is fully grown and filled out. The photos don't show her long tail, but she has one... and it is
always wagging. This is a really precious puppy, with a wonderfully sweet disposition, and she will make some lucky family a great pet. To see more photos of Sugar Plum (and her sister Spice) please
