Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bo Aces came in to rescue this week with 2 other horses, from an owner who was not able to care for them. He is a registered Quarter Horse, Panas Ace by Ms Sunshine Bonanza.
Bo is quite the handsome boy; 14 hands 3 inches, good conformation and great ground manners. He has been checked for parasites, and his teeth examined since arriving at rescue. We also had his feet trimmed and updated his vaccinations for tetanus, influenza, and Eastern/Western encephalomyelitis.
His prior owner says she used him for trail riding, and that he is appropriate for a novice rider (as she described herself). We went for a short ride last weekend, and he had one short jag of crow-hopping early on, but later worked easily at walk, trot, and canter in Figure 8's around posts. The crow-hopping may be just high spirits; we don't know when he was ridden last, and he was in a new place with a new rider, but all excuses aside I am reluctant to place him as a "kid's horse" because of that incident. I think he would make an excellent horse for an intermediate or experienced rider though, and was very responsive and soft mouthed.
We are asking a minimum donation of $100 for adoption. For more information or to make a donation to help cover the cost of care for these 3 horses, please contact Jes at docjesadams@gmail.com or 509-690-7343.
