Harley appears to be a mix of Carolina Dog and Shepherd. He is young, current on all vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea and tick preventions and will be microchipped with his adoption. He was found abandoned, chained in a yard with two other dogs. One of the others is still putting on weight trying to get healthy and the third dog was already deceased when help arrived.
Harley is dog social and has done well with a family pack, with proper introduction and even understand that the cats are not play toys and are in charge! He is learning quickly many commands and shows us how smart he is. He is in boarding and the staff at Pet Perfection tells us they don't even need a leash on him as he follows commands so well. Harley is appreciative of his rescuers and is doing amazing, given the circumstances he came from. Dogs live in the present and he certainly does! He is so deserving of a forever home for the New Year! Will that be with you?
