He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself. He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing. He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##

He’s now tucked away in one of our awesome foster homes. Jax is just a puppy and loves playing with his toys and working on his brain games. He is a sweet natured boy who is a little bit shy initially. He’s very curious and will come up to sniff and investigate. Jax is a fun little co-pilot and rides will in the car and he enjoys going on small adventures. He’s relatively quiet and well mannered in the home. He is interested in other dogs on leash and greets them nicely. We think he would love to have another dog in his forever home. Jax is a 6 month old, 6 lb Chihuahua mix (maybe some Basenji or Min pin splashed in there). The best type of home for Jax would be one with a little less coming and going, and a secure environment with an owner that has time to do a little confidence building with him. He is going to make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family! Jax adoption fee is $350 and includes his neuter, registered microchip, first puppy vaccine, deworming and flea treatment. Klaus is a very good boy! He loves going on walks and eating chewies. He is such a big love bug. He would be a great addition to any home! He came to be with us because he was found as a puppy and the people that found him couldn’t keep him. He is a quick learner and he is trained. He will try to lick you to death. 100/10 the sweetest boy ever. We are only rehoming him because we will be moving to an apartment and we want him to have more space since he loves to run around. He is 1. He will go to his new home with all of his favorite toys, food bowl, harness, leashes and collars, his beds, crate, and a new big bag of food some of his favorite treats, and his records. I can also show and write out all of his commands for you.
