You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Do you remember Ash's friend Brock from the tv show Pokemon? I'm a bit like him: handsome, suave, a great cook, and kinda a ladies man. I mean, I was hanging out with Misty until I was saved... and she is one tough chick! I have a sweet and gentle temperament, which is great for a boy saved at the local gas station.... just waiting for the right person to SAVE ME!!! I had been there for weeks, with Misty, and the day the rescue CHIEF came to the gas station... I literally rolled over on my back for her and begged her to help me (us).... and she DID!! Talk about being in the right place at the right time!! Now I am hanging with Misty at the rescue and waiting for the BIG DAY... when you adopt me! I am great with all people, older kids would be good because I can be a little nervous still, I am great with other dogs and would love a friend in my furever home to show me the ropes :) I am waiting.... and I am patient.... but really want that home!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
