Story
Copenhagen loves his humans and likes to sleep next to them. Good on leash. Generally laid back. Loves belly rubs. Likes to play ball but never brings it back to you. Wants you to chase him. Lived with 2 previous Great Danes without issue. After the loss of our previous Danes another was brought into the home and the battle for pack leader ensued. Food aggressive with this one but not with previous Danes. As previously stated did well with our late Danes but never got along with this one. He has not been aggressive to other dogs in neighborhood or walking on leash. Have not tried to feed him with other dogs. Fenced yard would be best as he likes to follow his nose. Terrified of gunfire, fireworks & severe thunderstorms. Doesn't mind going out in the rain.

MEET RUBY: Age: DOB 4/01/2029Breed: Basset HoundWeight: 53 lbs  Ruby came to our rescue on December 8, 2024, after her previous family faced health challenges with their young son. This loving dog was pregnant at the time and proudly delivered 8 adorable puppies on December 14, 2024. Now that her puppies are growing and ready for their own homes, Ruby is looking for a special family to call her own. Ruby is a sweet and affectionate girl who thrives on human attention. She loves to be around people and will shower you with love and loyalty. With her gentle nature, she’s sure to bring joy to your life. Ruby gets along with other dogs and doesn't show interest in cats.   Ruby walks well on a leash, making her a great companion for walks in the park or neighborhood strolls. She is house trained. Ruby prefers not to be crated, as she feels more comfortable and secure outside of one. Ruby is not the best fit for an apartment or mobile home environment due to her vocal nature. She enjoys expressing herself, and a space where she can do that freely is essential. Ruby also requires not to be tethered for her safety and comfort.
