Story
Our dogs are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or any of our other delivery location. This pup was born to a basset hound lab mix mom. She was born 7-1-22. This pup is shy at first. She warms up great though. This pup likes cats and loves other dogs. We have started crate training and potty training. This pup will go home current on vaccines and preventives and microchipped. She is spayed and heartworm tested(negative). This pup will receive a certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all health records with adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
My name is Travis, and I’m a 2-month-old Basset/Spaniel mix with a lot of love to give. I’m just a little guy, weighing about 6 pounds, but I’ve got a big heart and a bright spirit. I came to the rescue with my 5 siblings, and we’re all looking for our own separate forever homes. Even though we had a rough start—our momma was killed when we were very young—things are looking up for us now, thanks to the rescue giving us a new chance at happiness. I’m a sweet pup who’s excited to explore the world and find a family to call my own. What I need now is a family who will give me the love and care I deserve. If you’re ready to add a little joy and a lot of love to your life, I’d love to be your new best friend. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hi there! My name is Tallulah, and I’m a 2-month-old Basset/Spaniel mix, weighing in at about 6 pounds of pure sweetness. I came to the rescue with my 5 siblings, and we’re all on the lookout for our own special forever homes. We had a tough start in life—our momma was sadly killed when we were just tiny pups—but thanks to the kind folks at the rescue, we’ve been given a second chance at a happy, loving life. I’m still learning about everything, so I’m looking for a family who will guide me, love me, and help me grow into a confident and happy dog. What I need now is a forever home filled with love, patience, and plenty of cuddles. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion to brighten your days, I’d love to be your girl!
