When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course! Meet Rusty Rusty is a young adult pup with a loving and playful spirit! He enjoys making people laugh with his funny ways and healthy curiosity. An all around wonderful boy, Rusty gets along well with both cats and dogs and would make a great addition to any home. He is very tender towards kids of all ages and enjoys giving them kisses and gentle nudges. Rusty is also a smart dog and enjoys learning new things. Though his leash manners need a bit more work, he’s mastered crate and potty training. He has a VERY healthy appetite and currently eats out of a slow feeder to keep from eating too fast. Rusty is the whole package: friendly, loyal, and full of energy, always ready for a new adventure. If you're looking for a friend to chill on the couch with and be your Netflix buddy, Rusty is your guy. If you're also looking for an active pup who enjoys a good walk and game of catch, Rusty is the one. This sweet boy is about a year and a half and longs for a home of his own. Rusty is looking for a family who can match his zest for life and who will appreciate his loyal and loving nature. Will you be his forever family?
