Meet Enchanted! ✨Enchanted is a 1-year-old, 53-pound Lab/Basset/Terrier mix with a long body, shorter stature, and a big personality! This sweet and playful girl is incredibly intelligent and always ready for fun. She adores playing with other dogs, going on walks, and getting all the belly rubs she can.Enchanted is highly treat-motivated—especially when it comes to getting goodies out of her red Kong! She’s house-trained, knows how to sit and shake, and even rings a bell when she needs to go outside. She has a hilarious streak, often stealing something important (like your shoe!) just to get you to play a game of “Tag! You’re it!”She’s wonderful with kids, friendly with strangers, and absolutely loves car rides—especially if they end with a pup cup from the drive-thru! She’ll go in her crate when needed (though a treat helps!), and while she’ll settle in for the night, she’d much rather sleep on the couch or snuggled up in bed with you. Around 9:30 pm, she’ll let you know it’s time for “night night.”Enchanted is still perfecting her leash skills, but she’s making great progress. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
