Pepe is approximately one year of age, around 22 pounds, neutered and fully vaccinated beagle mix. He is potty & crate trained but still learning how to walk on leash. He is extremely loving, sociable and playful. Pepe gets along well with other dogs, adults and children alike. Given his young age he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Pepe lived on TJ streets and in doorways for months. But was in precarious situations moving place to place so FHSTJ intervened in February 2024. Pepe has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him with the affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

This handsome boy is about 4yo. He’s a tricolor male Beagle. He’s on the bigger side, likely 15” tall and about 35 - 40lbs. His previous owners surrendered him because they could’t afford having a dog anymore. Sheldon was an outdoor dog, so he’ll need house/potty training once he gets adopted. We’re currently working with crate training, to sleep indoors at night. He wasn’t in great shape when we received him but he’s recovering quickly. He’s very friendly with people and good with other dogs. Included with adoption: - Wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) - Rabies certificate - Fecal test - Pending results - FLEX4 test (Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme) - Pending results - Heartworm/Flea/tick preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Neuter surgery - Leash and collar - Adoption contract - Some of his current food Pick up in San Diego, CA. Beatrice came from Redlands, CA. She’s a 5yo tricolor female Beagle. She’s about 30ish lbs, she’s a small girl (likely 13”) but chubby. Rehoming reason: Her original family got her as a puppy for their son when he graduated high school. He has now graduated college and moved out. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to take her with him and the parents weren’t aren’t able to care for her as she deserves. What we know about her: She is a very mellow dog. As far as potty training, her previous family had an automatic doggie door that she used to access the backyard, but it stoped working. She usually sits by the sliding door and they let her out. She spent most of the time in the backyard unless it’s too hot. She is good with other dogs. Mostly doesn’t want to be bothered. She is also good with cats, they had an outdoor. She is good with children. They had a 13 and 11 yr old. No medical conditions that they’re aware of, but she’s a bit overweight. She’ll be ready to be adopted next week, after we take her to our Vet. Hello, Kahlua is about 10 years old and I have owned him for 3 years I just moved to San Diego in may of this year and with the new heavy working schedule as well as being in an apartment over a townhouse or a house with a yard he is just not adjusting well. He can be very needy and prefer someone that can give him the attention he needs. He is more scared of kids than they are of him and he is very sweet all around.
