Story
Copper is a beautiful bicolor Beagle boy. He’s 9 months old and about 27lbs. He’s currently in a foster home (Tustin, CA) until he finds his forever home. Copper came from a breeder in SoCal that has been struggling finding homes for their older Beagles. We’ve helped placing in adoption a few others of their Beagles and they reached back to send Copper with us, to find a good home for him as well. Overall, Copper is not trained, socialized and has separation anxiety. He needs someone that will be available to continue working with him building his trust to new people and introduce him to new things, he was kept in a single property at his breeder’s since he was a puppy so everything is pretty much all new to him. His foster says that he’s been doing better everyday! She has worked with him and he’s more confident now. Here’s an update provided by Copper’s foster mom: “-He’s starting to go potty outside. He does great on the puppy pads, but we are working on going outside -He does great at night, he loves to cuddle -He’s starting to come when called and is learning his name -He is letting me reach to pet him -He likes to play with toys -He’s not a fan of being left alone -He follows me around the house -He’s food motivated -He does okay on the leash, he’s still scared of noises so we do short walks on the quiet streets and avoid people and dogs for now -He’s scared of little kids, he’d do best in a home with older kids or adult only home -He does well with other dogs, he loves to be around other dogs -He’s a curious and overall happy puppy Once this guy gains a little bit more confidence he’s going to be an amazing pup! He has a funny personality and such a unique, handsome face!” This was the same case with the other Beagles that we took in from the same breeder, and they’re now doing great in their new homes. They just need training, a routine, lots of patience, time, treats and love! Included with adoption: - Wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) - Rabies certificate - Fecal test (Positive results for Giardia) - Giardia treatment (Finished treatment) - FLEX4 test (Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme) (Negative results) - Heartworm/Flea/tick preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Neuter surgery - Collar/harness and leash - Adoption contract - Some of his current puppy food Copper is ready to be adopted. Feel free to fill out our adoption application form, if interested in adopting Copper. Pick up is in San Diego, CA. Transportation could also be arranged to the right home, depending on distance.

Story
Honey is a 2yo female Beagle, Lilac coat color (tricolor light brown, tan and white). She’s on the smaller side, about 17lbs we were told. She’ll be coming from MO to us soon. A family in Orange county reached out for help taking her in, a family member from them is the owner of the dog and they’re keeping her contained in a crate for about 20h a day, plus they’re relocating to AK soon and won’t be able to take her over. So this girl is not house trained. Despite of her being almost all day in a crate, we were told that she’s a sweet loving dog, and that she’s also good with kids and other dogs. Unknown about cats since she’s never been around them. We’re looking for a family that will have the time to train Honey, so she becomes a loved indoor dog as every pet deserves. Included with Honey’s adoption: - Vet wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) - Fecal test (Pending results) - Medication, if she comes back positive in her fecal test - FLEX4 test (Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme) (Pending results) - Heartworm/Flea/tick/Worm preventive given (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with prepaid lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Spayed - Leash and collar - Adoption contract - Some of her current food Pick up would be in San Diego, CA. Transportation to the right home could be arranged, depending on distance. If interested in adopting Honey, feel free to fill out our adoption application form and we’ll get back to you.

Story
Rose is a 2 months old tricolor female Beagle puppy. We recently took her in, she was the last puppy available from an accidental litter. Her owners couldn’t keep her longer since they weren’t going to be home for a few weeks. She’s a typical puppy, loving and playful. She didn’t have a name when we got her, we named her Rose. Included with adoption: - Wellness exam - First puppy vaccine: DHPP - Dewormed - Fecal test (Negative results) - Microchipped with lifetime prepaid enrollment (AKC reunite) - Adoption contract - Puppy collar with microchip ID collar tag - Samples of her current food (Diamond Naturals, Chicken & Rice Puppy Formula) Note: We don’t spay/neuter puppies younger than 6 months old, for their safety. The adopters must take them to their Vet to perform this procedure once they’re old enough and let us know when that’s done. If you’re interested in being considered to adopt Rose feel free to fill out our adoption application form and we’ll get back to you. Pick up is in San Diego, CA. Rose is ready to be adopted.
