Story
In a lot of ways, Puglsey Addams is the ideal dog. At about 40 pounds, he's not too big and not too small. A distinguished senior gentleman of some 7-8 years, he's chill as can be and an absolute sweetheart. He enjoys a good head pat or chin scratch, but he is by no means needy and is happy to spend all day just chilling on his bed or in his crate. He might be shy at first, but his confidence has grown every day since he left the shelter; with a little time, you'll no doubt end up best buds. Pugsley is crate trained, house trained and is very responsive to commands. He does well on leash and in the car. Pugsley could fit beautifully in any number of homes, and will no doubt brighten yours -- and who could say no to those big, brown eyes of his? To meet Pugsley, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt and follow @dogcoaltionla for updates!

Story
Bagel is a four-year-old Harrier Beagle that weighs about 40 lbs. He was found wandering the streets of San Fernando Valley. One of our volunteers caught him, took him to the shelter in hopes the owner would come to claim him but no one did so we took him into our rescue group. Bagel was born with a deformed front leg that he was unable to use, the Vet recommended the leg be amputated so we did that for him. Bagel has been with his Foster Dad for two years, enjoying being spoiled and playing with the other dogs in the house and in the yard. He loves playing tug-of-war and catch me if you can. Bagel loves to go on long walks, he’s a fast walker but loves to stop and smell everything with his hound dog nose. With three legs Bagel can still run and do quick circles when he’s playing and can dig a little hole with the one front leg. Bagel is a typical Beagle, very vocal and loves to talk. He loves to watch TV with his Foster Dad and is very cuddly. At night he likes having a good place to bury himself under blankets. He rides well in the car, gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is also OK with children but none under the age of 5. Bagel is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Story
Hi there! My name is Lainey! Aren't I just the sweetest girl? Before being rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I went through a really tough time. I was hit by a car and then dumped at a high-kill shelter, left all alone and scared. But I never gave up hope, and when BFP heard my story, they jumped in to save me! Now that I'm healthy and healed, I'm ready to share all my love with a family who will cherish me. I may have a funny little walk (thanks to my past injury), but it doesn't slow me down one bit-I still want nothing more than to be by your side. I'm a total cuddle bug, always eager to snuggle and soak up affection. I love neck and ear scratches, and if you rub my belly, I'll roll right over to enjoy every moment! I'm also a bit of a talker. If I see a cat, squirrel, or even a stranger, I'll give a little howl to make sure you know I'm keeping an eye on things. I just want to be with people-I'm happiest when I'm near you, getting all the love I can! If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close to you, I would love to be your girl. Will you give me the forever home I've always dreamed of? I would prefer a home that has: No other dogs (I'm okay with other dogs, but really prefer to be the center of attention), adults-only (I'm too nervous to feel confident around children), lots of love! My location: MENIFEE, CA *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a super friendly and loving boy that adores people so much it makes me get the zoomies!!! Even though I'm a happy boy now, I haven't always been this way... For the majority of my life, I lived in a tiny cage at an animal testing laboratory and was subjected to painful experiments every day. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am loving my new life! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a joyous dog now. I do well with other friendly dogs, too! I am active and playful and my ideal forever home will be one with lots of fun adventures and play opportunities! I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you give me my forever home? My ideal home has: Adults only (or older children!), no other animals (I want all of your attention!), lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal.
