Daniel is a sweet, wonderful, playful young boy. He was rescued from a shelter in Tennessee and unfortunately has spent half his young life in a shelter. But that has not dimmed his spirit. He is full of life and love and joy. While he is quite active, he also settles down nicely. A fenced back yard is a must. He is very approval motivated and intelligent, so will train quickly. He is friendly and loving to people, kids, and other dogs (cats are an unkown). He is very house trained and does not mess his kennel. He is very well mannered, but is still has a lot of puppy brain going on. With some good structure and love, he will grow into an amazing, loyal, and loving companion. Rootey is the newest addition to our HSOC canine menagerie. We estimate Rootey to be about 7 months old and 25 pounds. He might be part Beagle and Cattle Dog. So far he's just a rootin' tootin' barrel of fun. We are still getting to know him, but he seems to be great with people, loves toys and anxious to play with other dogs.
