Story
Dixon is a 5 year old, 30 pound beagle who was abandoned at a local shelter. Dixon loves all dogs and cats and would be good with kids. He does require a secure fence as he loves to roam and sniff. Dixon is low heartworm positive and his monthly treatment will be provided. He would love an outdoors type family and a comfy couch to chill on. Story
Minnie is a 2 year old 30 pound chunky beagle mix. Minnie was found in the utility room of an abandoned house where she had a litter of ten puppies. Even in these conditions Minnie was an angel and so grateful to be rescued. Now that her pups are adopted she needs her own loving family. She will make a perfect family dog she loves everyone and everything she meets. Minnie will need some work on teaching her not to jump on you for hugs so she may be too much for small kids. Minnie would love to go on adventures with an active family and loves car rides. She is great on a leash and in the house. Minnie is overall a perfect companion and anyone would be lucky to adopt her. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. Story
Little bit is a super sweet little lady but the plan was never to keep her. I agreed to foster her for a family member when their dog had puppies and she was the runt of the litter that wasn’t doing well. She is very sweet and playful but shy and nervous sometimes and has been since she’s been with me. She has been in my house but not enough for me to say she’s house trained but has done well when she has been inside or in a crate. She is on a runner most of the time due to her getting out of my yard easily. She likes to chase my cats but gets along well with them and chickens/turkeys as well although she will chase them too to play if she’s able to. I have other dogs she loves playing with and gets along well with.

Story
Meet Chase, a charming 3 year old pup who is just as sweet as he is handsome. He was labeled an escape artist by his previous owners, and they don't want him back. It's a mystery why anyone would let go of such a lovable companion, but here he is, eager for a second chance. Their loss is someone else's gain because this boy is an all-star pup! Chase is leaving his past behind and he's ready to find his true forever home. He's definitely interested in other pups, especially the ladies, which could have been one reason he was trying to fly the coop. A little "snip snip" should help that! Chase is an adorable medium-sized dog who has clearly enjoyed his fair share of treats. With a heart full of adventure, he dreams of a yard where he can explore to his heart's content. Chase is a social butterfly who enjoys making new friends, so why not swing by and ask to meet him today? He's very eager to leave shelter life behind for good! Will you be the one to give him that chance? By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.
