Meet Archie, a 4-month-old Beagle and Bernese Mountain Dog mix with boundless energy and a heart full of love! This playful little guy is full of puppy enthusiasm and loves jumping up to give kisses and get some extra cuddles. Archie is incredibly friendly and always eager to say hi to everyone he meets, making him an instant hit with new friends. He's confident and affectionate, quickly warming up to new people. As a young puppy, Archie will need some training, but he's eager to learn and will be a quick study with the right guidance. He can be vocal when he wants attention or a tasty treat, but his adorable way of asking will melt your heart. Archie can't wait to meet his new family-come meet this sweet boy and see how he'll steal your heart! Archie is a delayed adoption which means he is ready to head to his forever home, however, he remains our responsibility medically until he has has his neuter surgery. He will have continuous weekly check-in appointments here at our shelter until his neuter has been completed at our spay and neuter clinic. Because of the delayed adoption, we are look for adopters that are local or very close to the Barrie Area. This includes their base vaccinations, rabies vaccine, flea and tick treatment, microchip, their spay/neuter surgery, and some food from Royal Canin to help with the transition. It wasn't safe for puppies to stay in the forest, so a local rescue in Costa Rica immediately took them to her shelter. Hello! My name is Loki...I came to the shelter as a surrender but was very much well loved. The staff say I am such a sweet loving and friendly dog. I am good with cats, dogs, and people! I know the commands; come, sit, lay down, and willing to learn more. I am very smart and loves to engage with you. I enjoy walks and running arounds in a fenced in yard. I am still a puppy and I will require some training on my manners as I jumps up on you for being excited to see you. Once told gentle or off I respect your wishes. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES:CHILDREN: Yes, over 10 preferred.
