Story
Elsie has been a cherished part of our family for the past five years. She is an active, affectionate dog who loves being the center of attention. Belly rubs are her favorite, and she expresses her love through plenty of sweet kisses. We are searching for a home where Elsie can be the only pet, as she thrives in an environment where she doesn’t have to share the spotlight. Unfortunately, she has not been getting along with our other dogs, which has created a safety concern in our household. Because of this, we believe she will be happiest in a home where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will shower you with affection, Elsie could be the perfect match. Please reach out if you think you can provide her with the loving, single-pet home she needs.

Story
Meet Bear. He’s a 6 month old Pup. His Dad is a Belgian Malinois/ German Shepherd and his Mom is a Jack Russel. He was the biggest of the litter and needs rehomed as his Dad is becoming aggressive towards him, I think because of his size. He’s going to be a big boy. He has his first set of shots. We’re trying to leash train him and so far, he’s doing great! He’s a beautiful pup. If you are interested in giving this Gentle Giant a home or know someone interested, please let me know!

Story
Poor Dingo has bounced from place to place. First, a homeless man was giving him away for free in the streets, and someone contacted us to help - but it seemed someone else gave him a home, what a blessing! Unfortunately, a few months later, a neighbor found a dog dodging traffic around Walmart, not far from where the first person had contacted us about him... at the time, we didn't make the connection between the two dogs. However, as we helped the neighbor post "Found" ads, something about his picture jogged a distant memory, and we tracked down a picture of the first dog. Yupp, it was Dingo. Again, to Dingo's misfortune, the lady who found him didn't have the means to keep him properly contained within her unfenced property, and knew a neighbor dog had been killed recently by another neighbor's dog. So, despite her deep love for Dingo, she was unable to keep him either. So now, this goofy, happy, sweetheart is wondering what his future is. :( Dingo is probably about 1 year old. He seems good with dogs, and LOVES puppies. He has been around a couple small children and done well. He is athletic and enjoys exercise, and would really like to play with other dogs he sees. However, he gets very gentle and attentive to his people, and LOVES pets. He would pick up any obedience training or routine expectations very quickly, and is very treat driven. He walks pretty well on leash. He is current on his DAPP/Bordetella, and is scheduled for his neuter and rabies at the end of February. He could also use a great foster, to help show him the ropes!

Story
Dakota was adopted out of her litter in August 2024. She is almost 9 months old and is a high energy dog who needs lots of attention, interaction, and engagement. She is working on her socialization with other dogs. She loves to be part of your world. She has been going through obedience training. She knows how to sit, stay, and is working on strict leash training such as not pulling and staying within proximity. She is current on her vaccinations but is not spayed, although she is eligible. The rationale states "behavior" issues. There have not been severe behavior issues with her. We are surrendering because we have four young kids and we worry an unpredictable behavior could be tragic on both sides. She will do very well with someone who understands her breed and can be very patient through her training over time. As far as interactions with kids, she is mostly good with kids except her high energy can get her in trouble.

These pups are in Temecula, California too!

Story
Molly is a purebred, 8 year old German Shepherd! She is very active for her age and could play fetch all day! She loves her ball and always carries it around with her! Even though she enjoys playing, she is also very well-behaved in the house and will just lay by your feet when it is time to relax. After being abandoned in a canyon (where she was rescued from) Molly is so grateful for all the comforts of a home and enjoys a soft bed to curl up in.  She is also very loyal. When she is left alone, she sits quietly and patiently by the door for you to come back.  Molly is friendly and gets along well with all people. She doesn't bark, knows basic commands, and she is crate trained as well as housebroken. She does sometimes pull on a leash though. (she is just so excited to explore and check everything out!) Molly can be around other dogs but is very dominant and would do best in a home without other animals.    She has been checked over by our vet and is in great shape! She does, however, have an eye condition that slightly impairs her vision and she takes daily drops to prevent further vision loss. She may not have perfect eyesight but she can still see and has no problems finding anything or getting around. Overall, Molly is a great girl! Well-behaved, playful, smart, loyal and loving!   If you're interested in meeting Molly, please visit our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org to fill out an adoption application!October 22, 2024, 5:04 pm

Story
Zendaya!!!!!!!! Oh sweet soft loving beautiful Zendaya!!!! Zendaya came to us from Coachella animal shelter where she was picked up as a stray after being shot in the shoulder. This poor Sweet Love Bug had a significant limp for quite a while on the right shoulder. The great news is that with lots of love and Rehabilitation with her foster family Zendaya now enjoys running, playing and romping with her friends on a 5 acre ranch. She is now ready to find her forever home! We are looking for a family who has the time and energy to give her the best life possible. She is very playful as you will see in this video. She is also quite smitten with a kiddy swimming pool and loves a soft bed with toys indoors. Call Piper's Path Rescue 760-445-0973
