Story
Luna is 12 and just needs a good place to live out the last couple of years of her life. She’s pretty chill nowadays and is just fine going outside or for walks a few times a day. She has been spayed and is up on all her shots(Just got a clean bill of health this past week) She is house trained. Homes with a cat or other dogs are not going to work. She plays well with others at doggy daycare, but not on walks. I’m willing to pay for her food & vet/meds bills for the rest of her life. The reason I’m needing to rehome her is that there was a “biting” incident with my daughter. I believe it was an accident and that Luna is a safe dog.

Story
Meet Bobbie! The sweetest, most playful, and easiest Malinois pup you’ll ever meet! This guy has never met a stranger, human nor dog. He loves everyone he meets and has the most innocent outlook on life. He is a total goofball who would make a perfect starter Mal. He is an active pet through and through but would be great at weekend warrior type sports like dock diving, fast cat, barn hunt, etc. He has an incredible off switch in the house and is fully crate trained and house broken. He has no behavioral problems but will need basic training and socialization to continue maturing into a proper young gentleman. Bobbie would do best in a home with another young dog to play with. We are unsure of how he does with cats but I do not see them being an issue if introduced properly. He is chipped, UTD, neutered, and ready for his own forever home!

Story
It's a Belgian Malinois with a little extra something. This fun-loving, extremely smart, willing-to-please pup is going to be a big boy! He is kennel trained already and loves the pool and playing outside. Luca is a little suspicious of new places and things but works it out quickly. Typical mal pup.

Super playful and fun. Needs more attention than what I can give her. Great with dogs and people. Typical mal. She’s young. About 10 months. Was going to train her for scent training but she seems better as a pet so want to place her in a home.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
A dash of curiosity, a pinch of excitability, and a ravenous appetite, Meili is more than an interesting character. This brindle beauty is seven years young, with the energy of a pup. She has a bit of nervous energy, but she loves meeting new people. She enjoys going for car rides with her favorite volunteers, especially if a surprise burger stop happens. She does alright on her walks, though she does get overly animated when an interesting sniff comes by, or she wants to be closer to home base.We suggest when on a walk, that she wears a harness, giving her security, and also helping the handler with any enthusiastic pulling. If you really want to befriend Miss Meili, the easiest way is through food, just watch your fingers. She loves food more than life itself. This lovely girl does need a bit of patience, as she tends to head into things head on, while over thinking once events are going on. She would love to be in an inviting, cozy home where she is safe to be her quirky self. If you are interested in meeting Miss Meili, and watching the light beam from her eyes meeting a new friend, please fill out an adoption application (no commitment) at Satchelslastresort.org.

Story
She is very smart and very high energy. She has been with us since you is 5 weeks old so she is very protective over us and not very social with other people. We have another dog she gets along with we have goats and a cat and chickens that she gets along with as well. She has fear aggression meaning if she don't know you she is going to bark and growl at you so it's going to take probably a few days once taken home for her to warm up too somebody but she definitely is not going to warm up to you overnite. She will have to leave in a kennel because she will not allow a stranger to put her on a leash or just be loaded into a car without being caged up and it's going to be that way probably for several days until she gets used to her new owner but it's definitely going to take some time and somebody with patience. But she will definitely make somebody a great friend wants she gets used to you. She loves to play she loves toys so she is going to need somebody that is active and energetic
