Story
He is house trained but he would need to be in a Kennel when left alone. He defecates inside when left alone for a period of time but he’s good off leash for the most part. He’s super cuddly and loving would be best if you had a yard he can go out in im sure he would be ok if he had access to a yard to run around in and play in

** Iandamp;#39;m offsite at Puppies for Parole! If youandamp;#39;re interested in adopting me&#44 please contact melissa.mauch@doc.mo.gov **andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Hey there! Iandamp;#39;m Mark&#44 a shelter dog whoandamp;#39;s still very much a puppy at heart&#44 with all those adorable (and sometimes mischievous) puppy behaviors. Iandamp;#39;ve got boundless energy and will need plenty of outlets to burn it all off&#44 whether itandamp;#39;s playing fetch&#44 going for runs&#44 or just having a good romp in the yard. I need to meet all the kids in your home to make sure weandamp;#39;re a good fit&#44 and I do best with older kids who can keep up with my playful antics. Iandamp;#39;m full of life and ready to bring a lot of fun and love into your home. Are you ready for an adventure together?

Story
Huxley is an energetic pup, looking for an active family who will take him on lots of adventures! His foster mom reports he is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands (sit, come, heal, down, yes, and no), loves toys, and having fun with other larger dogs. He walks nicely on leash, and is very treat motivated, making him super easy to train. He is best suited for a home where he is the only dog, or with dogs as large as he is. He is around 9 months old and 60 pounds. Midwest Animal ResQ offers a 30-day adjustment period within which you can evaluate the pet's progress and your adoption decision. If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to chose from at the shelter as well. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO.
