Story
Skye is a 8 year old female Belgium Malinois.Skye is a super chill girl who is eager for adventure and to find her new family! Skye is always smiling and absolutely loves the people she's decided are her friends. Once you're on Team Skye, you are in! She is all about big adventures, going on walks, and exploring the wide-open world. She does amazingly well on a leash, making her a good hiking buddy. Once she gets to know you, it is constant cuddles. Skye needs you to be her pack leader and to let her know everything is good, to be ready for her to look to you for direction and respond to your moods. Skye would do best in a home with no other dogs, no kids, and possibly a cat - she would prefer to be your one and only!To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. To apply for this through PetFinder, please visit www.ucspca.org/how-to-adopt/available-dogs/. Please know that putting in an inquiry through PetFinder is NOT putting in an application. You must apply through our site on Adopets to adopt this pet. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 56 Age: 9yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Rip a 4 yr old, Malinois/Belgian Shepherd mix. He is a big boy at 90lbs. Rip is very intelligent and eager to please. He is very food motivated. He knows many basic commands, including sit, touch, down, paw and is working on roll over. He is also crate trained. Rip enjoys going on long walks with staff and volunteers. Rip's walking ability has received glowing reviews, as our walkers have told us he is one of the most enjoyable dogs to walk. Rip enjoys human interaction, and will ask for attention and affection at any given opportunity. Like any good dog he loves a butt scratch, a belly rub and a head pat. As for other dogs, Rip is selective. He enjoys the company of a dominant female, who can doll out and receive some rough and rowdy play. As much as he loves kids of all ages, due to his size and general doofiness a home with children is not recommended. Rip is also not suitable for a home with cats. For more information on Rip Wheeler, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for a pre adopt application. Adoption fees for Dogs (8yrs and up) is $150 Adult Dogs is $400 and Puppies under a year is $500

Story
Darius is a very special boy. He is a huge favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers! Darius is very affectionate, well behaved and playful. He is also gentle, social and very smart. This loving fellow gets along with other dogs and people. We do not know what he thinks of cats. So with all that he has going for him, everyone, (including Darius), cannot figure out why adopters keep passing him by. We all love Darius and would be very sad to see him leave but we want him to live his life in a home and as part of a wonderful family. Darius is about 10-11 months old and 42 pounds. Please help Darius find the loving home he deserves. Story
Dajon and his 5 siblings are the product of two buddies thinking they were going to make money breeding Belgian Malinois. Mom decided the neighbor boxer mix boy was much more interesting then an arranged match. Dajon is very smart, super social and playful. He is good with other dogs but will chase a cat. His foster Mom says: "He is completely potty and crate trained. He knows sit, down and is working on stay." Dajon is about 10-11 months old and 41 pounds. Please help Dajon find the loving home he deserves. Story
Courtesy Posting Attention Belgian Malinois Lovers! Meet FLORA- located in Quincy, MA Flora , a 3.5 year old Belgian Malinois, is ready for her new home! She is spayed, house trained and UTD on all her shots. She is also smart, playful, loyal and is very typical of the breed. She came to the shelter as a stray and appeared to have had little training and was frightened and reactive in her new, strange surroundings. Flora has been in training for the last 2.5 months, and is flourishing with positive training techniques and consistent reinforcement! She’s a fast learner, walks well on a leash, and is thriving with structure and regular exercise. Flora will need to be the only dog in her new home and is looking for an adult only family who have experience with the Belgian Malinois breed. She’s done so well in her training that her new owners should have the ability and time to continue her training and reinforce what she has learned. She is so eager to please! Adopters must be willing to meet with her current trainers so that her lesson plan and positive learning techniques can be passed along so she can continue to be the be best girl she is capable of being. If you are interested in giving Flora a forever home or want more information please e-mail: adoptions@quincyanimalshelter.org or leave a message for Jeannie at: 617-376-1349 Thank you! Flora is a Courtesy Posting and is not an SGRR dog.
