Story
Hiya, I'm Piranha! I am a snazzy guy that found his way to Joseph's Legacy after becoming paralyzed as a young puppy. A real nice lady reached out and asked for help when she realized I couldn't use my back legs. After arriving, x-rays were preformed where it was confirmed that I have a fractured back which is pinching my spinal column. Due to the damage, I am unable to use my back legs to walk, but don't you dare feel sorry for me! I am a happy go lucky guy who uses these cool wheels to get around! I am just like any other young dog, just cooler since I ride around all day in style! A few things I love to do in my wheels is romp around with my foster siblings and play a good game of tug-o-war! We all run in the backyard together and we do this cool thing called racing to see who can be the first down the ramp! In my foster home I also have feline friends that I love to give kisses to, but they don't seem very appreciative of my love! My favorite foster sibling is the 2 legged one who brings me all the snacks I want and gives me all the belly rubs I can handle! I like to think I am an easy guy to take care of. Foster mom lets me hang out in this spacious playpen where I take naps and eat my meals. Mom doesn't diaper me while I'm in my playpen and I do my best not to make a mess for her to clean up. I do like to wear my diaper while I'm rolling around in my wheels just so I don't make a big mess. My ideal forever home would be someone who will give me all the love and attention I deserve! I would like to either have a 2 legged or 4 legged sibling to help keep me company, but I'm not a picky guy! I do prefer a house with no steps so that I don't hurt myself and it makes it easier for me to get around! If you think I sound like the perfect guy for you, send us your application and we can set up our first date to find out if it is love at first sight

I purchased her from a breeder. I've had Zmowahanah every since she was 8 weeks old, meaning I have been her only owner. She is now 7 yrs old. All of her shots are up to date. All of her tests are negative (heart worms, stool specimen, blood work). She has met all annual check ups. She is loyal, and great guard dog. She loves to play and get her belly rubs. She truly loves her mom and I'm certain she will come to be the same to you. Zmowahanah loves to run and play with her toys inside and outside. I would want her new home to have room for her to have room or have someone that likes to walk.

Life happens fast, if you don't stop every once in a while and look around, you might miss it! I came to GDR with my siblings and Mama, who are all adopted now yaaay, and now I'm waiting for it to be my turn to be adopted! Dodger is a happy and excited boy who loves to wag his tail and makes lots of noise, just like his sister! He has a ton of energy to spare and wants to use it running around, playing fetch, or going on long walks. He'll need lots of activity and would be great with another active dog and active kids :) Dodger is a very sweet and polite boy also who loves to cuddle on the couch or bed, or sit down right next to you. Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

MVPC has spent the last few months getting me out and about and learning that I do not have to be scared of everything. And while I am still shy, I have come a LONG WAY!! I love playing with other dogs and running around the yard. I am even good on walks! I am still working on my commands and manners, since I didn’t learn anything in my previous life. Story
My name is Amory. I was rescued from a breeding operation where I was found neglected, used for profit and then forgotten about. Miami Valley Pit Crew heard about me when one of their shelter partners reached out for help. MVPC swooped in and decided to bring me in until the most perfect home could be found. I am a stunning lady, but don’t let my looks fool you, I love to get down and dirty like any good GSD does. I keep my crate clean and dry, and as long as I’m kept on a schedule, won’t have any accidents in my home. I would love an active family with a big yard to patrol. ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! Story
Hello there, my name is Gage! I came to MVPC from a 3 strikes and you're out family. First strike, they kept me outside in a kennel my whole life where I caught a couple different parasitic infections. Second strike, they taught me nothing. Third strike, they weren't very nice to me. Thank goodness I wound up here! I'll be honest with you, I'm a high energy work in progress. Luckily, I'm also a smart guy who wants to please you. I just have a lot to learn, and I got started a little late. I am super sweet and am finding that positive attention is the bee's knees! I am adjusting to being a house dog, and I like it! I'm picking up on my commands, and learning to settle down. Leash manners and being less mouthy are also on my agenda. I don't really like my crate after 3 years in a kennel, but I am doing a little better every day. I do have my potty manners down! Other dogs are pretty awesome, but I need to learn proper play. I don't know much about cats yet. I want to be with you or near you at all times - I absolutely need a family with GSD experience that will understand me and my needs because I don't really understand them myself yet. But I am willing and anxious to find out. If you are looking for a loyal and loving new pal and are willing to help me become the best version of a GSD, I would love to meet you!
