The ideal adopter for Mabel will be someone with Belgian Malinois experience. She is super smart and incredibly connected to her person, making her the ultimate doggy partner. She's a pro at training and already knows all the basics like sit, come, leave it, and more. Plus, she walks like a dream on a leash, staying attentive to her handler every step of the way.
But don't think Mabel Marie is all work and no play! She's just medium-energy and enjoys a bit of exercise each day to keep her happy. Whether it's hanging out on the couch for a Netflix marathon, exploring the yard, or going for leash walks and car rides, she's up for anything as long as she's with you.
What Mabel Marie loves most of all is hearing how good she is – your praise and positive vibes mean the world to her. She's motivated by your connection and wants nothing more than to be your faithful sidekick.
While she's lived with other dogs and kids and enjoys playing with both, a home without small animals is best for her. She would also do well as a on my dog or paired with a large, confident male.

The adoption fee is $650 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, a microchip with an instant lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
