Story
**DIASHA IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED** Introducing Miss Daisha (pronounced DAY-SHUH). At two years old, this petite Dutch Shepherd or Malinois/Staffordshire mix is ready to join a loving pack permanently. The ideal home for Daisha would be with someone who has the time and passion to nurture her love for learning, maintain consistent training and exercise, and understands that her breed mix thrives on an active lifestyle. Daisha is a bundle of high energy, intelligence, and trainability, always keen to please. She's proficient in-house manners, leash walking, and crate training, and has an insatiable love for fetch, squeaky toys, car adventures, and she might just be the swiftest dog you'll ever encounter. Seriously, her speed is astonishing. While Daisha gets along well with other dogs, children, and adults, she's likely not suitable for a home with cats. Daisha has been fully vetted, receiving all necessary vaccinations, a 6-month Pro-Heart shot, monthly flea and tick preventatives, and she is also spayed and microchipped. The adoption fee for Daisha is $550, which covers her transportation to PA. A licensed and registered USDA transport company will be used to safely deliver Daisha to her new family up north. If you have any questions, please email newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com Daisha's Back Story (cliff note version) Daisha, an 8-week-old puppy, was rescued by a compassionate young man (current owner) from a relative who failed to provide for her basic needs. Shortly after her rescue, Daisha fell gravely ill with Parvo and required hospitalization. Following dedicated care, she has been nursed back to health. Daisha was allowed inside the house during her first year, she now roams freely in the backyard, which has become her permanent spot. Daisha lived with her owner's mother for about a year until her owner's mother began seeking assistance from rescue organizations to find Daisha a home that could provide the life she deserves.    You can apply to adopt Daisha here:  https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! This active, healthy pup was born June 4 on the family farm with many areas to run and explore. Their mother, the family farm dog, is an Australian Shepherd mix. The father is a Belgium Malinois/Dutch Shepherd Hybrid. This mix is sure to prove athletic and easy to train because of its high intelligence. The pup is alert and energetic with a dark coat. Pup was dewormed at 6 weeks (7/15)(7.4 lbs) and vetted at 8 weeks (7/28)(12.12 lbs.) with a full physical exam, vitals check, and 5-in-1 vaccine. Pups were also screened for intestinal parasites and dewormed. Records available.

Story
Hi there! My name is Ryan and I'm a very energetic dog. I came to the shelter as a scared stray and am still nervous of new people and novel situations. I am young and need work on training and manners and would need an experienced adopter to help me become the best me I can be. I ask any children in the home be over 8 years old due to my anxious and high energy behaviors. I could potentially do well with another dog with a proper introduction. I have not been around cats before but would be willing to try with someone who has experience. I know I am worth the work. I just need someone to help me be my best. If you think you have the home for me, come down to the shelter and lets meet.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- WAFFLES IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR DOG. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Waffles was born April 5th, 2021. She is 45-50 pounds,  Spayed, and up to date on shots. Waffles is NOT good with cats or small dogs. No young children due to her high energy. Understands basic commands. (Sit, down, stay, come). She gets along with other big dogs with slow introductions. Waffles loves to be around her 'person', will roll onto her back for belly rubs. Crate trained but sleeps well outside the crate once she's used to her surroundings. She will easily jump a 4' fence and can unlock a gate. She LOVES her Kong!!If you are interested in adopting Waffles please contact Tljaneski@gmail.com.  443-536-4076. Waffles is being fostered in Westminster MD.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2024, 2:58 pm

Story
Max is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois. He is very smart, protective and sweet to his family. He gets along with our corgi but not our cat. We keep him in a crate at all times when. We live on 10 wooded acres where he gets to run and play all day. He loves chasing his jolly ball, playing in the creek and going for rides on the gator. We do have the shock collar on him when he’s outside with us and he listens very well. However we had 2 incidents where he bit a fed ex guy and he bit my sons friend. He did complete a 2 week board and train program at Stateline Canine where he did great. This is a very hard decision for our family, we all love Max dearly. But unfortunately with all the kids that come and go here we just don’t want to see anyone get hurt. I honestly think he’s just a little fearful around people and is trying to protect us. I think Max would be the perfect working dog for someone in the police force. Or perhaps someone with some land and time to decide to him!

These pups are in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania too!

Story
Soft, gentle, eager to please and affectionate, Volunteers at Molly’s Place use these words to describe my temperament. I’m Star, a 2 ½ year old Shepherd Mix gal weighing approx. 50# who wants to “Light up your Life” with love! The word “Star” means “Sprinkle or Adorn with or as if with Stars”. I’m a VERY CALM, Cool and a “Well Balances Behaved” girl that is initially shy with new people, but I do warm up and want to be loved on. Due to this shyness, I do need a 4 ft fenced to allow me time to adjust. Once connected, I’ll gaze at you with my soft dark eyes highlighted by a shiny black coat and tan accents. You will then be “MY STAR” and hope for the life I pray for! Good with ALL AGES of 2 leggeds folks, due to my initial skittishness, younger folks must be mature in manors, as quick actions make me afraid, NOT NASTY. Although already leash and crate savvy, I am very smart, but have not had an opportunity to learn basic house manors. With my Shepherd intelligence and your coaching this will come quick. Other “Shining” attributes are my love of toys, playful manors with other dogs and possibly cats. Yes, I am a “SOFT SOUL” with a BIG Heart who demonstrate tenderness and sensitivity.    Please meet me in this or any Galaxy. Just fallow the glimmer of hope I present, you will see the “Twinkle in my Eyes” and the Brightness of my Soul. “I’m Star” a girl who deserves a home filled with love, affection to allow my radiance to shine bright. Then you will thank “YOUR LUCKY STARS I’m YOURS”! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rosie (previously Lucy) and her siblings were found in a bin along a country road in Alabama with their tails tied.  Mostly likely, the owner was trying to dock them from home :(  Unfortunately, we do believe that they have permanent damage to their tails, however, it does not bother them! They joined our rescue on February 11th and are now in search of their new forever homes!Rosie has now been with us for 4 months and we are still searching for the right home for her!  She is now 50 lbs and is going to be a large dog, but not huge.  There is a lot of german shepherd in her, but she may have some other breeds in her. What we have learned about Rosie is that she prefers a quieter household.  We had adopted her out, but the family had a business and entertained a lot and it just had Rosie very antsy and unsettled.  It was not the right fit and she was returned. She is timid when you meet her, but she does warm up and becomes a very loving and loyal pet!  She is crate trained and is only crated when no one is home.  At night time, she sleeps with her foster mom.  Rosie is also house trained and will go to the door when he has to go out.  She walks well on a leash and  rides okay in a car (she drools).  We have also found out that she LOVES the water!!Rosie's foster family has a older daughter and she is used to being around children.  She loves to lounge on the couch with her best furry friend, Daisy.  Her foster mom said she is not snuggly with her humans, but enjoys laying with the dogs.  Rosie definitely needs a home with another dog or more and ones that are her size or bigger as she loves to play!   Rosie is spayed, up to date on distemper/parvo and rabies vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  The adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in Rosie, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup!PA Dog License #4709 (Cumberland County)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2024, 12:50 pm
