Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Patton! Patton is an 18-month-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix who is as smart as he is handsome. He’s a quick learner and thrives in training environments, especially when working with a trainer. This energetic and confident boy loves people and enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for active families or individuals. Patton has an alpha personality, so he’ll do best in a home with a submissive dog or as the only dog. He’s potty trained and working hard on mastering all his commands. He’ll need a home with a secure yard and a wooden fence, as he loves to be active and explore. Because of his energy and assertive nature, Patton would be best suited for a family with older children (12+). If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and active companion, Patton could be the perfect fit for your home! Story
Meet Hallie!Hallie is a parvo survivor and a very spunky and funny 3 month old Belgian Malinois mix girl, who is currently working very hard on potty training. She is very intrigued with cats so would probably do best in a home with no cats as she still barks and chase’s them. She loves her humans and plays well with big dogs. She has also spent her entire life with her litter mates, so it would probably be best if she was in a home with another dog. She is a fighter and has overcome a lot since birth, and has emerged beautiful and healthy. She deserves to enjoy her best life with a loving family. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Please meet Remington aka Remi!! We think he is a Malinois mix. We know this sweet boy is approximately 10 months old and has had all his vaccines, been neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms! All that, PLUS he's handsome, fun-loving, good on-leash, knows "sit" and "down," good with other dogs of all sizes, and he's learned to be cat-cautious! 😊 He's sweet with humans, and is particularly fond of his foster father. Remi is still a pup and has lots to learn -- like no counter-surfing, no digging in your water bowl, and try respecting other people's space! 😊 But, he's catching on quickly, as is common with his breed! His housetraining is coming along nicely. He will learn all these things and anything else someone wants to teach him! He's young and eager to learn and please. If you are interested in adopting Remi, please complete the online adoption application you will find near his pics on our website: www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org Remi is a Keeper!!

Story
Meet Juniper! She is an approximately six-year-old, 70+ pound Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix. We adopted her in 2019 from Dallas Animal Services and were immediately drawn to her goofy smile and personality. She is full of energy (doggy parkour anyone?!) but loves nothing more than cuddling up with the people she loves on the couch for a long day of snuggles. She has no history of health problems (though she has been known to fake an injury or two when she isn't getting enough attention), and she is up to date with all medical care (vaccines, microchipping, check-ups, etc.). Juniper is incredibly playful and energetic. Her favorite game is chasing tennis balls around the house, and she adores chewing up toys until they are completely demolished. She needs a big backyard that she can run and play in, and she can never resist chasing squirrels and barking at birds. Her biggest nemesis is the mailman and the UPS man. She has a strong bark and takes protecting her house very seriously. Juniper is good with children and other animals, however, we believe that she would flourish in a household where all of the extra attention could be focused on her. She does have destructive tendencies when left home alone and not given proper exercise or attention beforehand (pillows beware), but she has undergone significant training and knows her basic commands. She is also leash reactive which can make walks challenging. Juniper is housebroken, however, she is not crate-trained. She gets nervous in a crate and does better with being out of the crate when you leave the house. Currently, Juniper lives with one other (older dog) who can't keep up with her playfulness, which has caused increasing tension between the dogs. Additionally, with her human family expanding, she has gotten less attention over the past year and is no longer thriving in her home situation. She is being rehomed in the hopes that she finds a family with the time to give her all of the attention and love that she deserves. Juniper has the sweetest heart of any dog we have ever known, and combined with her goofy, energetic personality, she is a wonderful dog. We hope to find her a family who loves her for exactly who she is and cherishes and appreciates the silly qualities that make her so special. Story
Meet charming Charlie XIV! He is a 4.5 year old, 115 pound Shepard mix, with the most gorgeous eyes and floppy ears. Charlie was found as a puppy on a rainy day and welcomed into his current family. He has been the most loyal companion and neighborhood watch-dog ever since! Charlie is a very sweet and energetic boy who loves to cuddle, play tug of war, and go to the dog park or doggy day care to meet new friends. He is great around other dogs, cats and children of all ages. He currently lives with cat and dog siblings who he cuddles up with daily. He is very attentive to his current senior dog brother. Charlie sleeps most of the day, likes to snuggle his humans and give kisses. An ideal home for Charlie would be one with a large yard for him to run around in and/or someone who will walk him or take him to the dog park most days. He makes a great guard dog because he has a loud bark to alert you to any visitors. He loves it when his humans are home during the day because he takes his job as an emotional support dog seriously. Charlie is house and leash trained but might need more practice with crate training. He is working on tempering his excitement when he sees his leash or meets new people (he just needs to give them a good sniff). He follows commands and knows how to sit, lay down, and roll over. He is one smart pup! Charlie loves peanut butter, cheese, and apples as a special treat. Charlie is looking for a new home because his current owners are moving abroad and cannot afford to take him. His owners are so sad to leave him but are excited for him to find a new loving home. This goofy guy is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Charlie XIV today! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Charlie XIV, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Kobe is an incredible dog with a heart full of love and a spirit that brightens every room he enters. He is gentle and friendly, especially around small children, making him a perfect companion for families. My two grandchildren, ages 3 and 6, absolutely adore him. His loyalty and affectionate demeanor have made him an irreplaceable part of our family. Recently, Kobe was diagnosed with epilepsy, and while this has added a new layer of care to his daily routine, it has not dampened his loving spirit. He needs a caregiver who has the time and dedication to properly manage his condition by ensuring he receives his medications on time. Our work schedules have recently changed and will not allow us to give him the care he deserves. Although it breaks our hearts to consider finding him a new home, we know that his well-being comes first.

Story
D.O.B: 05/15/2024 Adonis came to us when he was 2mo and his previous family was trying to rehome him but the shelter was too full. He is incredibly intelligent and has the high energy level of the German Shepherd/pit mix. Some words that describe him are: *Playful *Goofy *He is convinced he is a lap dog *Shy/cautious around new people/places, but is easily reassured through positive reinforcement. *Treat motivated *Still working on leash training *Crate trained *Cant be left alone with stuffies (hes part goat) *Knows visual ques for sit, stay *Loves puzzles *Enjoys playing catch, but not fetch since he hasnt learned the release part of the game. Lol *Has great eye/snoot coordination, especially when treats are being tossed up in the air for him *He is very curious about learning new things, should be supervised for reassurance *Gives the best hug by resting his head on your shoulder *He has not been around elderly or young kids & still needs to learn boundaries & his own strength

Story
Hello there, I`m Roxy! I`m a lively gal who loves a good romp, but I also appreciate my alone time. I`m a bit of a paradox - playful yet independent, rowdy yet quiet. I can keep you entertained with my antics, but I`m also content to curl up in a quiet corner. I`m heartworm positive, but don`t let that deter you. I`m still full of life and love to give. I`ve been told I have a spirit that`s infectious. I`m not just looking for a home, I`m looking for a family. A family who`ll embrace my quirks, my energy, and my love. I promise to bring joy and laughter into your life. So, how about it? Will you be my forever family?
