Story
Olive is an eager, happy youngster who is ready to join a very dog experienced home who can give her the consistency, activity, training she craves. Olive is an achiever she is built for action and learning; she needs and takes to direction well, and needs to know to look to her person for approval, and direction. She is head strong and protective, needing strong leadership! She is a very affectionate young dog who is dog-friendly and house-broken. Olive needs a bit of work on her leash manners. She is very dog friendly, but no beta. An active and engaged person that has the time to provide ongoing socialization, lots of on and off-leash activity, fun, road trips and adventure is going to be the right match for Olive. Does Olive sound like the right match for you? She'll keep you on your toes, love you to the end of the world...she's also cuddly, but ready for action! Olive is at our Sanctuary - but may well come down to Point Richmond for a spell - she is a beauty and a diamond in the RUFF!

Story
Say hello to Zelda! Zelda (aka Zelly Belly), is a gorgeous four year old Belgian Malinois. She is extremely loving and adores getting cuddles from her people, especially snuggling up on the couch.  Zelda is extremely smart and has high food drive, but her prey drive is even higher so a home without small animals would be best for this girl. She does well with other dogs with proper slow introductions, and is currently being fostered with male and female German Shepherds as well as a Dutch Shepherd and does great with all of them. She is such a sweet social girl! Zelda is not food possessive and does not resource guard her toys from her humans which is a great treat for a Malinois in a family environment. She is being fostered in a home with a seven year old and a fourteen year old and does great with both. She has also had visits from younger children and does well, but can get overexcited and accidentally knock them down so a home with children over five would probably be best for this sweet girl. Zelda would thrive in a breed savvy home that is willing to continue her training and give her lots of love. She craves attention and thinks she is a lap dog! She would also do well in a home with a yard for her to run out her ample energy.  Zelda is crate trained and walks well on a leash. She also rides well in a car. To see  this girl in person please fill out an application ! She can’t wait to meet you!!!! ##1866612##

Story
This guy may bring a tough exterior, but he’s 100% cuddle bug! Buzz loves human attention and gives full body leans to show his appreciation. Buzz doesn’t play hard to get, quickly rolling over onto his back at the slightest hope of belly rubs! His sweet and loyal disposition charms everyone he meets. Buzz loves to be outside taking in all the smells and surroundings in Lily’s Big Field or running around in Lily’s Dog Park. Buzz is a highly intelligent, intuitive and emotionally sensitive dog who is eager to please and bond with his human/s. He is a sensitive soul, receptive to the things going on around him. As such, Buzz is looking for confident and calm human/s and would do well in a quiet, predictable home. Buzz may do well with a female, calm canine companion, but mostly seeks the company of dedicated human/s.

Story
Ollie came to Lily’s when his owner could no longer care for him. He had sadly been neglected in his previous home/s and needed lots of TLC to get back to a healthier weight and care for an ongoing skin infection. Luckily, Ollie landed himself in a wonderful foster home with two loving humans and a canine foster brother to provide him the love and care he needed. His fosters have loved having him and report he’s a wonderful work from home buddy, staying quiet and calm, happily laying nearby. His foster dog brother gives him the paw of approval, as a wonderful nap buddy and playmate. He barely barks and is very sweet and cuddly. He likes to play with plushie toys, gently gnawing at them and entertaining himself by tossing it in the air before tiring himself out for a nap. Ollie is a Velcro dog, looking for a human companion who can provide the attention and company he likely missed in the first part of his life. Ollie has some hind end weakness so is looking for a home that can provide him assistance when needed, and would do best in a single story home. Here’s what his fosters have to say about him: "Ollie is a great dog. He has excellent recall. He does not bark, has perfect potty training with ability to do 6+ hours when he has to with no mistakes. He can watch our chickens come right up to our back door and does not bark. He is polite when asking affection and will melt for a belly rub. He does not pull on leash when on walks. Off leash around our yard he stays right next to us. He is great with other dogs. He is not reactive at all. Very respectful and confident."
