Story
Meet Joe, who originally came to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Joe is a 1–2-year-old, 52 lb., German Shepherd. He has had all of shots is neutered and is microchipped. He came to us as rescue only due to fear issues. He is not aggressive in any way, nor does he shake / tremble. He is just nervous. Joe was adopted from us several months ago, but unfortunately, he stayed out in the yard because the adopters said they couldn't catch him, so they just left him out. The adopters returned him back to us on 12/30/23. Joe gets along well with all sized dogs and is social. While in foster care before he got adopted, he had started wagging his tail and socializing but now with the previous adopters not really working with him he's back to being shut down again. He will need time to adjust and get comfortable with his new home and does require a 6 ft. fence and having another dog (for companionship) in the family. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful boy, please send us your email address to obtain an Adoption Application.

Story
Meet Starr who comes to us from the community as a stray. She is a 2-year-old, 60 lb., fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped Shepherd mix. She is very playful, and one of the most loving and sweetest dogs. Starr is housebroken and mostly crate trained. She's still learning to go in, but once in, she's good. She is ok on a leash and is great with both kids and all sized dogs. Starr also rides well in the car. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please send us an email address to obtain an Adoption Application.
