Story
Willow is a sweet, friendly and energetic girl. She will thrive best with regular exercise and plenty of outdoor time! Willow loves meeting new people and seems to make friends easily. She appears to be potty trained, knows the cue `sit` and walks pretty good on a leash! Willow has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and it is believed that she lived with dogs previously. Unfortunately, Willow was left in the night drop with no paperwork provided with her. Luckily, we can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Willow is a really great dog and is best suited for a more active family. She could be a great adventure buddy!Willow was adopted from the shelter and once again left in the night drop with no paperwork. We were able to confirm that she was an owner surrender and that she had lived with another dog. No issues were reported.

Story
Fronz arrived to the shelter as a stray and unfortunately was not claimed by his owners. Fronz has been a very friendly guy who has done great with meeting new people! He is a social butterfly and we have not seen his tail stop wagging! Fronz appears to have had some basic training. He appears to be potty trained, walks well on a leash and knows his basic cues like `sit` and `down`. Fronz is a medium energy dog who would appreciate having regular exercise. He enjoys his time outside and is always happy to go on a walk. A fenced in yard may be beneficial for him but it is not a requirement! Fronz has done well around other dogs, but can become irritated with rambunctious dogs. He has reacted to dogs that are reactive towards him as well. Fronz is easily redirected and wants nothing more than to be a good boy! We can provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting and believe he will be more successful with a chill dog, possibly female. Fronz has many funny little personality traits and has been a pleasure to get to know better! One thing we adore is how he sits like a proper gentleman!

Story
Milo was loved by his previous owner but his home proved to be too much for him and his owner felt that they weren’t meeting his needs. Milo is an active dog who enjoys outside time, durable toys and regular exercise. He could benefit from a fenced in yard and has shown that he loves adventures! He recently went out for his first Miles for Mutts excursion and did fantastic - though, he was hesitant to get in the vehicle! Milo was a one person kind of guy in his previous home. He was friendly towards the children in the home , but dog savvy kids would be best. His owner mentioned that the youngest child was often overwhelmed by his energy, especially when he would jump up. Milo would benefit from additional training, but he is on the right track! Milo is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out by sitting at the door. He is also crate trained and was used to spending time in his crate. Milo knows his basic cues and has made great improvement with his leash walking! Milo is very sweet. When it is time for some down time he is always happy snuggling up to his owners, with a toy of course. Milo is very affectionate and can become overly excited when being petted, but does not appreciate being forcibly hugged. After a long day, one way he shows his love is by resting his head in your lap. As far as other animals go, we will require a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if you have other dogs in your home. Milo lived with another dog previously, but was too rambunctious for his old friend. He has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and we are so proud of him! Milo would need to be fed separately when it is time to eat due to food aggression towards the other dog. It is important for Milo’s success that he continues to be fed separately from other dogs. He was used to having dinner in his crate. Milo would chase chickens if given the chance and due to his excitement around the small critters we feel a home with no small animals will be best. We understand that Milo has a big personality. He has made great improvements in the shelter and we want nothing more than to set him up for success!
