Born: November 13, 2023 I'm 55lbs, and I am seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation: $450 Meet Cupid! This handsome one-year-old pup is looking for his forever home. Despite facing challenges early in life, Cupid has shown incredible resilience. He was diagnosed with an intrahepatic portosystemic shunt but underwent a coiling procedure to improve his liver function and extend his life. Now, Cupid is a happy and thriving dog, ready to share his love and joy with a special family. Cupid is a smart boy who knows commands like "paw" and "sit." He’s making great progress with housetraining, currently about 80% of the way there. Sweet and affectionate, Cupid gets along well with kids and other dogs, making him a perfect addition to any loving home. Could Cupid’s arrow of love be destined for you? He’s ready to find his forever family—could it be yours? All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
