Story
Kimball is a striking little kitten with a coat that sports gorgeous, symmetrical markings. His appearance is as bold as his personality-this playful, high-energy kitty takes his playtime seriously. Whether he's holding a cotton ball toy in his mouth while chasing a wand toy, or diving into a pile of toys, Kimball's enthusiasm is infectious. He's a natural explorer and seems to channel the spirit of a mini jungle panther, radiating both liveliness and confidence. While he loves to engage with people and other cats, he's just as happy keeping himself entertained, making him the perfect balance of independent and social. Due to Kimball's young age and temperament he will need to be adopted with his brother, Kristoff, or into a home with another young, playful cat. The adoption fee for this cat is $150, $275/pair. If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for adoption, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
Flash came to us when his owner decided he needed someone to spend more time with him. We are wondering now if he isn't a Marble Bengal mix. He is highly active and an escape artist. He escaped our building and went up the tree with our bird feeders (first picture). He cannot be an outdoor cat but needs an enclosed patio, cat wheel, and/or tall climbers to keep him entertained. He is about 2 and is stunning. He gets along well with other cats and loves to be cuddled on his terms. If he doesn't like something he will growl to let you know but he's really quite gentle. Can you give him the right home with the enrichment he needs? * Our kitties are: Spayed/neutered (or provided a spay/neuter voucher for kittens too small for surgery), combo tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, up-to-date on vaccines (rabies vaccine when age appropriate), treated for parasites, and most have microchips. Tiny kittens go in pairs unless there's a companion animal already in the household. Our adoption fees are low. Most are $150 although some very desirable kitties may be slightly more. For a pair, we reduce the adoption fee slightly. August 4, 2024, 9:59 am
