Story
Our dear Sadie is ready for a forever home to call her own. She is thought to be around 2 years old. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, has a microchip and overall in great health. She weighs 66 pounds, she needs to gain maybe 10 pounds. Sadie spent her short life in a puppy mill type situation. Sadie is a sweet loving girl. She needs time to trust and move forward. She is timid and shy but that is normal for Berners like Sadie who have spent their lives just having pups. She really does not care for loud male voices, she would do best with more mild manner males. Her forever family should be patient, patient, patient with her. While at the same time work with her to bring her forward a few steps each day. Her adopter will need to teach her all of those pesky house manners. She needs an adopter who will slowly introduce her to the world since it is all new to her. For this reason she is considered a flight risk at this time and requires a yard with 6 ft fencing. Sadie is not a fan of small animals of any shape or type, so no cats, small dogs or any other small animals in the home. She seems to do okay with big dogs. She is currently living with 2 male Berners. She is slowly starting to play with the Berners. She has never lived with small children. Small children will be too much for her to handle. Teenagers should be fine. Once Sadie begins to trust and bond with you, she is a love bug. She will lay with you for hours on the couch for pets. Sadie is a sweet girl who wants to forever home to call her own, one that will work with her and slowly introduce her to the world. We do not transport our Berners. Adopter should plan to travel to Sadie's foster home in Morrisville, PA to pick her up. Her adoption fee is $450.00. If you think Sadie just might be the girl for you, please complete our adoption application and submit to: info@bfwrescue.org.

Story
Baci is a sweet, playful standard bernadoodle girl! She is 14 months old and absolutely adorable. She weighs approx 65 lbs.  She is dog-friendly and has not been cat-tested. She would do best in a home without small children due to her energy level and size, but older kids are ok.  She is house trained and walks fine on a leash. She is blind in one eye but that doesn't stop her from living her best life.  This girl is playful and energetic and would love a home with another dog to play with.  She needs an active family and would do best with a fenced yard. Baci was adopted from PPAR in 2023 as a puppy but her family has decided to return/rehome her because of her energy level.  She is an energetic girl, who needs a family committed to exercise and engagement.   To apply for Baci , please click the link below:  https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/       ##1794572##

Story
Meet Lucky"Take it slow, and it'll work fine. All we need is just a little patience." Lucky didn’t start his life off on the right paw, having been a breeder dog before being safely brought into rescue by a wonderful foster. Now, this 4-year-old, 40 lb Bernadoodle is ready for his forever home—a place where his big heart and unique quirks can truly shine. Indoors, Lucky is a gentle, easygoing companion who’s fully house-trained and enjoys the quiet comforts of home. He’s a laid-back guy who loves the peace of being inside. Outdoors, however, Lucky is a bit more independent and needs his space. He’ll come back inside on his own terms—no rush, just patience. Lucky has a soft spot for large dogs. While he’s not too fond of the little ones who tend to pester him, he lights up with excitement when playing with dogs his size. He’s got a playful energy and a sweet nature that shines when he’s with the right company. Lucky shows zero aggression or guarding tendencies—just a big dog with a big heart. Lucky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He’s looking for a home with patient, understanding humans who can appreciate his independent streak and give him the space he needs. A fenced yard is a must for this sweet boy, as he’s skittish around people and should be considered a flight risk. Until he fully trusts you, it’s best not to take him on walks—he may try to bolt. When the time is right, I recommend using a double leash, harness, and martingale collar for outings. If you have a big dog in need of a playmate or just love a dog with a personality as unique as Lucky’s, he could be the perfect addition to your family. Story
My name is Daisy and I'm a 6 yr old Bernese Mountain dog...I may take a while to warm up to you but once I do, I won't leave you alone.I require a physically secured fence as I am a bit of an escape artist. I need leash training but I am housebroken and if I must be in a crate I'm ok but I don't care for it. I like to chase little animals in the yard, I am a good girl and could possibly be taught not to chase cats. I'd love to meet you and you can meet my other Berners friends here who are looking for their forever home! PA kennel license #5310 • 100 W Main St Lansdale, PA 19446
