Story
Meet Fezziwig! Fezziwig entered Chula Vista Shelter as a stray, and sadly, she wasn't claimed. We scooped her up on December 23rd to become a Frosted Face just in time for Christmas. Fezziwig is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we are excited to learn more about her while she spends the holidays in a home. Her Fling Mom reports: "It's been less than a week, but I've definitely seen Fezzi's confidence grow. She loves a soft cozy spot above all else. This gal is a professional couch potato and snuggle buddy with a powerful soulful gaze. Fez will stay in bed as long as possible while I get ready, and then food generally gets her up and moving in the morning. Fezzi eats her wet food fine, and she can always be counted on to eat cooked chicken. When she first came home she ate better if I stayed next to her, but now I can do my thing in the kitchen while she eats. Fezzi is a rockstar in the car! We did a day trip to visit her Fling grandma, and she curled up to take some light naps or just watced me while I was driving. I don't have a yard, but Fezzi got to explore at Grandma's. She discovered the cat across the fence and was VERY interested. She chases after birds on our walks and will pull to get at other dogs (no barking). Once she can't see them, she will keep going, otherwise, it takes a bit of persistence to get her redirected. For now, Fezzi does best when able to see people, which means being in a crate can be hard for her. She will whine or bark if left for too long, and it's the only time I've heard her be vocal. I haven't left her alone for too long yet, but for short time periods she does just fine." Please check back soon for the next update!
