Story
Name: Mabel Age: 10-12 months Breed: Coonhound Gender: Spayed Female Current Weight: 47lbs Estimated weight when grown: 60-80lbs House broke: Has occasional Accidents Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes (will need to be properly introuduced) Good with Children: Yes Heartworm Test: Neg Adoption Fee: $100 Misc. Information: Mabel was adopted from the shelter and returned a few days after because adopter stated that she wasn't good with other dogs around her food. Please keep in mind that she was adopted with another dog on that same day and not given any time to adjust to a new home, nee doggies sibling or her surroundings. Hounds tend to be protective over their food as well so proper management of this behavior will be important. Simple things like feeding her in a kennel or separate room where no one can get to her would be ideal. Other than the food issues, she was great with the other dog and enjoyed playing with him. Mabel is such a sweet and loving girl who just wants to be in your lap or rolling on the ground in the grass. This sweet girl is just looking for her forever family. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.
