Story
Miss Pink is a female black mouth cur mix born 3/10/24. She is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped & her spay appointment is scheduled.Miss Pink in the ring leader & is quite the investigator! She is very sweet & loving. She gets along with other dogs, all sized humans & we can only assume cats. She will play with any kind of toy & she is working on her potty training. She would enjoy a secured, attached yard at her new home. Our best guess is she will be a medium sized dog when full grown. Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. Story
Spud is an energetic, bouncy tator tot who loves to run, loves to play, and has a typical goofy puppy personality! Here’s what one volunteer said about him:“First time walking Spud. What a wonderful bouncy puppy! He came right up to check me out as I entered his kennel and despite all the wiggles, leashing was easy. He was obviously happy to get out into the fresh air, eagerly exploring every scent and checking out all the surroundings. He checked in regularly with good eye contact and took treats from my hand with a gentle mouth. We stopped several times to take in the view and he would lean in for touch and affection (and maybe a little reassurance). Spud will need a little work on his leash manners, but he is intelligent, treat motivated, and eager to please, so he should be a quick study. He will make a fine companion for an active person who can give him plenty of exercise and stimulation.”Spud is back in the shelter after spending about nine months in a home where he did well with small dogs and even with cats. He was crate trained and was described as affectionate and playful:“Spud enjoys long walks and learning new tricks, and he LOVES belly scratches, cuddles, being brushed and playing fetch. He’s an overall good boy!”During a short foster stay Spud was house and crate trained, well- behaved when left home alone, and was curious and even submissive with the resident cats. Spud is cuddly with his trusted humans, but needs time to adjust to a new environment and needs a dog savvy person as he can be nervous of things he is not familiar with. Spud would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home. He would love to find an active home with a family who will continue his training and who will, of course, give him plenty of play time. Ask to meet Spud today!!

Story
Piper was the main character in the show Orange is the New Black…not that we`re comparing kennel life to prison life. I mean sure, there are some similarities… you spend most of your time indoors with a couple of daily exercise breaks, you don`t get to choose your roommate, and the food can be a bit monotonous. But, you don`t have to wear orange! In fact most of the inmates don`t wear any clothes at all, because, you know… they`re dogs. Also, you don`t have to break the law to end up in the shelter- Piper certainly didn`t! To top it all off, Piper can leave anytime- she just needs to find a family first! #FreePiperPiper was originally adopted through a rescue group and was in a home for about a year and half before first coming to the shelter in 2022. She was housebroken in that home and would politely bork when she needed to be let out to do her business. She slept at the foot of her people`s bed and they told us that she loves attention, and to run and play fetch. Her only request is that she not be disturbed while sleeping- a girl needs her beauty rest!! Piper was adopted, but her family is moving so she’s back on the search for her happily ever after. In her most recent home, she was described as affectionate, playful, friendly and cuddly. She was also housebroken and crate trained and reportedly did well with kids.Piper has been social, tolerant, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She may do best in a home without small dogs. Ask to meet Piper today!!

Story
Bella is a sweet, sensitive girl who lived in one home her entire life before being surrendered to PACC. Bella reportedly did well with kiddos in her former home. She was unfortunately kept outdoors so being welcomed indoors to be near her family is a main requirement for her future home. Dogs are social creatures who want to be near their people! Bella can be shy at first but warms up and has tons of love to offer. She’ll need a bit of time and patience as she settles into a new environment, but we know she’ll thrive with the right person or family! Bella shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Bella today!!
