3 year old black mouth curr/pit mix. Could be Rhodesian ridgeback mix, not 100% sure. Super sweet girl, crate and house trained. Very energetic. Up to date. Spayed. Microchipped. She has been raised with other dogs and young children. Never shown any aggression. Litter mate is also available(black dog in photo). Crate and food bowl included! Sage is very unaware of her size and strength. She loves to chase shadows, leaves, squirrels and lasers. She doesn’t have much special awareness, so I’d recommend a young person or couple. She’ll unintentionally take you off your feet if she’s chasing something.

Raelynn is a beautiful black mouth cur mix with so much love and “perfect dog energy”! She is giving the vibes and taking names. Kind to our little 10 lb muttie mixes and other visitors to the house both human and canine, Raelynn has a fantastic personality. She is untried with cats; we are working on not chasing squirrels from bird feeders. She is 100% a ball dog, and she is a fast and active runner who enjoys the outdoors and a super active lifestyle. Raelynn is nonstop until the evening, and then a stern “time for night night!” sends her straight to sleep through the night. She has never had any potty accidents in our house, and she has never chewed up ANY of our possessions. She is perfect! With a sleek and soft honeyed - brown coat, beautiful brown doe eyes, and a lovely expression of loving calmness, it is way too easy to fall for this girl. Could you be the one to be her one? She deserves the world, and we are looking for someone to give it to her. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Meet Rita! Sweet Rita spent over 4 months sitting in an overcrowded metro area shelter just waiting to be saved after her puppies were aborted. We can only imagine how sad, confused, and scared she was! That's all behind her now though! Rita is such a sweet happy girl now that she's out of the shelter and settled into her foster home! She spends her days running and playing with all of her dog friends and her nights snuggled up with a soft blanket - no more scary shelters for her!
