Meet Dexter - This handsome boy was recently surrendered to the shelter due to housing issues. His previous family felt like he needed more room than their current apartment offered. They said that Dexter is an extremely loving and affectionate boy who would love nothing more than a little space to run around and play in. Dexter's foster family says he is a 10 out of 10, an all-around great boy. He is a super sweet boy who loves his people. He can be a little tentative around men, but given a little time and space, he warms up quickly! Dexter is one smart cookie and picks up on commands quickly. He has already learned place, kennel, free, and waits to eat until given his command. He is also house, crate, and muzzle-trained. Dexter is currently living with cats, but everyone keeps to themselves. Dexter cannot wait to find his new home and he'll be sure to offer up lots of kisses to show his appreciation. Dexter loves his foster sibling and would be happy to have another four-legged companion to hang out with! He would love to meet any potential canine siblings before heading home to ensure that it is a great match.Dexter is currently living in a foster home. This handsome boy is Tanner who is a two-year-old (Est. Birthdate: 06/19/2022) black cur mix. Tanner loves to play with dogs at his daycare but can not be around cats. He needs a home with older kids and adults who can help him feel safe and secure. He is potty trained and keeps his kennel clean at night. He loves cuddles and will make a great movie-watching partner. Tanner is loyal and sweet. He is also an energetic young dog who will do best In a fenced-in yard with another dog or at dog daycare during the day, or with an active family. Tanner's unique combination of playfulness, loyalty, and sweetness, will make him a wonderful addition to a family. He is the perfect companion for both active days and cozy upcoming fall nights. Story

Nala is a sweetheart who has been through alot of traumatic events. She’s special in her own way. We got her from Sedalia Animal Shelter in MO. When we first looked at her she had been adopted 3 times before we finally adopted her. My husband really wanted her and I loved. We knew she would be hard work but we didn’t know how hard it would be. She has grown a lot and has matured in a lot way. She was timid and scared of loud noises and smoke alarms and would hide. Now she just goes to her bed. She’s playful and loves cuddles. She sheds a lot and hates baths but we’ve grown to manage it. She is 4 years old now. Nala has definitely showed signs of being abused. She doesn’t get along with other animals at all and will bark to protect her territory and is very over protective. She hasn’t been around kids enough to be known as aggressive towards them but if people are invited to your home she is playful. I am looking for someone who can understand her situation and work with her like us.
