Story
Nala is a sweetheart who has been through alot of traumatic events. She’s special in her own way. We got her from Sedalia Animal Shelter in MO. When we first looked at her she had been adopted 3 times before we finally adopted her. My husband really wanted her and I loved. We knew she would be hard work but we didn’t know how hard it would be. She has grown a lot and has matured in a lot way. She was timid and scared of loud noises and smoke alarms and would hide. Now she just goes to her bed. She’s playful and loves cuddles. She sheds a lot and hates baths but we’ve grown to manage it. She is 4 years old now. Nala has definitely showed signs of being abused. She doesn’t get along with other animals at all and will bark to protect her territory and is very over protective. She hasn’t been around kids enough to be known as aggressive towards them but if people are invited to your home she is playful. I am looking for someone who can understand her situation and work with her like us.

I am a 6 month old male mountain cur mix who was brought in with my brother, Whiskey. A wonderful family found us out by a highway and decided to take us in for a few weeks. It didn't work out and we were brought to this shelter. I've come out of my shell somewhat, but am still pretty shy and in need of a loving home with a new family.
