Meet 'Miss' Kay!  This loving young girl adores her trusted people and is often giving gentle hugs or asking for belly rubs! Her love for affection and eagerness to please makes her incredibly attentive to her handler. Kay tends to be on the moderate energy side which makes her adaptable to most lifestyles. She will happily enjoy a lazy day with her family but wouldn't mind going on a nice walk or hike if needed.  Kay has been an expert in doggy playgroups, usually paired with our extra large males. She has a good balance of play and chill and would mesh well into most packs.  Come meet Kay and see if she would fit well into your home! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Reggie!  This sweet and goofy boy could be mistaken for a baby giraffe! With his long legs and mildly clumsy personality, Reggie will surely bring light to any home he goes to! When his favorite people come around, he likes to do a funny army crawl over to you before rolling on his side for belly rubs! He can be shy around new people but once he warms up he is full of affection and very playful!  Reggie has grown up around all types of dogs and does very well with them! He is typically paired with our more dominant females as he respects their authority and doesn't mind following their lead. Reggie would likely love going to a home with another dog or two to show him how to be a house dog! He has mostly grown up here at the shelter and is ready for a loving and relaxing home where he can grow into the best companion.  Reggie is a smart boy and learns new things fairly quickly. He walks well on a harness and knows how to 'Sit'. These two things may not seem like a lot but in an environment as stressful as this, having that self-control is very endearing. Reggie would surely enjoy going somewhere where he could have a job to do to keep his mind busy. Does Reggie sound like the perfect addition to your home? Call the Ranch to come meet him today! Meet Jonas! This outgoing young man is sure to light up anyone's day! He loves meeting new people as well as making doggy friends! He has been with dogs of all sizes and seems to enjoy everyone's company. He doesn't seem to realize that he isn't 10 lbs anymore but what large dog does?   Jonas can be initially wiggly and clumsy when he first sees his people but once you get him on leash and moving he is fairly well mannered. He does well on leash, knows how to Sit and is starting to learn how to Wait. Come to the Ranch to see if Jonas is perfect for your family!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Captain!  This friendly boy will never steer you wrong! He is a people dog through and through, loving everyone of all ages. Captain grew up in a home with kids and would likely thrive with some 2 legged friends to romp around with!  Captain originally came to us as a young stray puppy. He was then adopted out and returned because the family didn't have the time for him that he needed. It was clear he didn't have much socialization or interaction as he was very hungry, thirsty, and mildly fearful of dogs when he came back. Since being back with us he has had some good experiences with other dogs and may do well in a home with another canine companion or two, though he also wouldn't mind being your one and only!  Does this handsome young boy sound perfect for your family?  Call the Ranch to come meet him today! Story
Meet Red Red!   Are you looking for a dog to cuddle up on the couch with you and binge-watch some TV? Red Red is the boy for you! He is incredibly affectionate and loves spending some quality time with both his human and canine friends.    Red Red spent almost a year here at the Ranch recovering from a pretty rough leg injury but he is now healed up and ready to run and play. He has incredible 'zoomies' when he gets excited! Red Red is also fond of playing in water and you will often see him napping in his pool when it is hot out.   Call the Ranch to come meet Red Red today!   You can read more about Red Red here: https://rrdog.org/dog-shot-in-the-leg-saved-by-good-samaritan-now-on-the-mend/   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Meet Lucia! Lucia is the total package! This girl is well-mannered, good with other dogs, good with kids, and she's mellow! She walks well on a leash and she knows how to 'Sit' and 'Wait'. Lucia has been paired with all types of dogs here at the shelter and does well with them all. She does prefer her more mellow canine companions though and we don't blame her after being in the shelter for so long!  Lucia is very smart and tends to pick up new things quickly so teaching her any type of trick or task is easy!
