Meet Tinka, a charming 40-pound Catahoula and Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love. Tinka is not only intelligent but also incredibly sweet. His well-trained demeanor is a testament to his eagerness to please. Tinka's love for other dogs is boundless; he's a playful companion who brings out the best in his four-legged friends. With a gentle introduction, he can even get along famously with cats, showing his adaptable nature. But what truly sets Tinka apart is his affection for children. He adores kids and is their loyal and patient friend, always ready to share his love and wagging tail. His good heart shines through in every interaction, making him the perfect addition to any family seeking a smart, sweet, and loving companion. Tinka was with the rescue as a puppy (see cute puppy pic) and was returned after found on the streets of SA :( But he is an amazing boy, had some special obedience training with his previous family and now he can be YOUR new family member!!! So, now we are the COUNTRY ROAD PUPPIES. Story
We adopted 3 year old Stewie from Family Dogs New Life Shelter in April, 2024. He's quite handsome and is in excellent shape. He's super fun and sweet - he's an excellent walking and hiking companion who will cuddle up and be calm and happy at night. He loves the people in his pack and almost everyone else - he did express fear with only one of our friends by growling, backing away, and generally avoiding. He also loves other dogs and has made us proud at the dog park by happily playing with everyone without aggression. Stewie is mostly untested with kids, but when he's met them he's been curious and friendly. He lets them pet him without jumping or knocking them down. When overstimulated he can jump and be mouthy but is not aggressive. Stewie is smart and eager to learn and practice new skills. He loves "training!"

Story
Silly Goose is sweet, gentle, loves the water, being outside, and loves being around the people he cares about most. Maybe it’s his sweet eyes that look at you with so much love in them, his cute floppy ears when they perk up or his radiating smile. Goose is a Black Mouth Cur mix approximately just under 2 years old and currently weighs 48 lbs and is fully grown! He is very dog friendly and did amazing meeting all of the dogs we introduced him too. He has the playfulness to play for short bursts with the other dogs but also knows when to take breaks. He is very tolerant and is more of a submissive fella. When he’s not playing with his doggy friends, you’ll typically find him sitting in the back watching the other dogs play in the yard, out exploring and taking in the fresh air, chilling in the pool/pond, or loving on his humans. He has a really nice calming demeanor about him and a great balanced energy that could match a variety of different households. He would do great in home with a backyard where he can sunbathe and roll around in the grass. I do see Goose living his best life out in the country exploring with his people, swimming in the pond, catching butterflies with the kids, and sitting with you on the back porch watching the sunset. Goose is always a bit shy at first but once he knows you’re his person he opens up quickly. Goose has done well in his foster home in the crate and is potty trained. He has also lived with other dogs in the foster home and did great! Goose will need someone willing to help him polish his leash skills and continue reinforcing his basic manners. He is very treat motivated which will make training a breeze. He is not jumpy or mouthy and is very tolerant of physical touch. We believe he would make a great family dog with kids. We are willing to test Goose with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
This sweet boy can go from a seemingly shy boy to the smiliest lover with just the sound of sweet talk! It was amazing to see him light up when we started talking sweet, he understands that its directed at him and it means he is loved and appreciated. Hunter Smalls… because what he hunts for is small- a sweet talking someone of his very own. At an estimated 2 years old, Hunter has a calm demeanor that typically only comes with age. He is a petite 39 lbs of calm, dog-friendly, cat-tolerant, peaceful companionship. Aside from the power sweet talk has over him, my favorite thing about Hunter is his contentedness. Whether its out in the yard or in the living room, he is happy to share space with in your company. You don’t need to entertain him and he won’t be pestering you for endless games of catch. This gentle soul can be a touch shy at first, but once he senses your warmth and the sweet talk begins, he opens up to show you his loving nature. With his calm demeanor and quiet disposition, Hunter is going to be a wonderful companion to you and other dogs at home. He is a gentleman in the company of other dogs, showing a playful side while maintaining his cool even when other dogs get a bit pushy.. A home with a calm, friendly companion would be a dream! In rescue we cannot know age or breed with any guarantee but believe he may be a black mouth cur mix. Thanks to his size and incredibly calm and content nature, Hunter has potential to be an apartment boy but he would love a cozy home with a little yard to explore and occasionally nap in. His light-up face and gentle soul promises to keep your life charmed and full of love! His charm and loyalty are going to feel like such a gift! Adopt Hunter and know the depth of rescue love waiting in him! If you have any questions about Hunter or would like us to test him in a specific setting or for a particular detail, please reach out! We are committed to making sure he is the perfect fit for you and your lifestyle, and we can accommodate most requests to make that happen. Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Faye is here to make your day- she has mastered all the things that make for a growing-good dog. With the amazing ability to be friendly and inviting to all, people to animals, she was born to spread a little happiness wherever she goes. Faye is currently being fostered in a loving home where she lives with other five other dogs and three cats! Talk about set-up for success! The beauty of a dog waiting out the time until adoption in a foster home, is the amazing headstart it gives to being “move-in ready.” Understanding the rhythm of a house, including being house trained is a beautiful base for a wonderful life as your favorite dog. Watch her profile video for moments of her enjoying the space to run with one of her canine companions. I should mention that those five dogs vary in size from 9 lbs of itty-bitty to an XL 125 lb friend, so it's safe to say, she is great with dogs of all sizes. https://youtu.be/UHB_jrP6MEg Miss Faye is also SUPER affectionate! She loves snuggles, and her tail wags constantly when she's with you. She's especially fond of cuddling up with her foster dad in his favorite chair. But what truly sets Faye apart is her incredible love for kids. She's a natural with children of all ages, showing remarkable tolerance, gentleness, and patience. Faye would make an amazing family dog, bringing her friendly, loving way along with her wherever your adventures take y’all together. Faye has the basics of house training down, including using a doggie door! We always recommend giving a few tours of the appropriate “potty-places” to ensure they understand their new home and routine. Another adventure ready aspect of Faye is that she is a water-lover! Backyard pools to beach side, she is in! The cutest is when she lounges on a pool float without a care in the world. Thanks to her size she will be easy to include in day-to-day adventures and weekend road-trips. To give you an idea of her size, people continue to guess that she is likely some Puggle. Pug+Beagel. Who know truly, she is giving some shepherd in her coloring too, its rescue so its a comical game of guessing. At 39 lbs she is bound to be a perfect fit whether you live in a house with a yard or an apartment/condo. We think Faye might be a Puggle mix, but with rescue, it's always a bit of a guess. This sweetheart comes from a part of the US where puppies are often euthanized, so by adopting Faye, you'll not only save her life but also make room for us to rescue another in need. The rewards are endless, and Faye is already planning ways to make you laugh and finding cozy spots in your home to snuggle. Faye cannot be described as anything but an ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART! Her friendly eyes are full of love and adoration for the lucky family that gets to adopt her. Her super waggy tail will tell you everything you need to know—it's her best way of communicating. The faster it wags, the louder it gets, the happier she is! She can even wag her tail while sitting down, which we think is part of Faye's tail-wagging magic. Faye's foster mom says she gets along well with other dogs and is a great car rider, so she's ready for road trips or just running errands with you. While Faye is still young and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires, she's preloaded with an amazing headstart! So if you are looking for a versatile, happy-go-lucky, friend-to-all kind of dog, with an adorable face, Faye is ready to be considered for the very important role of your best-buddy! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
