Meet Tinka, a charming 40-pound Catahoula and Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love. Tinka is not only intelligent but also incredibly sweet. His well-trained demeanor is a testament to his eagerness to please. Tinka's love for other dogs is boundless; he's a playful companion who brings out the best in his four-legged friends. With a gentle introduction, he can even get along famously with cats, showing his adaptable nature. But what truly sets Tinka apart is his affection for children. He adores kids and is their loyal and patient friend, always ready to share his love and wagging tail. His good heart shines through in every interaction, making him the perfect addition to any family seeking a smart, sweet, and loving companion. Tinka was with the rescue as a puppy (see cute puppy pic) and was returned after found on the streets of SA :( But he is an amazing boy, had some special obedience training with his previous family and now he can be YOUR new family member!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee included)

You know how the song goes...... "there we were just a-walking down the street, singing do wa diddy dum diddy DO!!" it was TRUE!! We, four little adorable scared and skinny and covered in fleas pups, were walking down the street EARLY one morning.......... And LOTS of people passed us there , EXCEPT a wonderful woman, who just happens to be related to a VIP in the rescue :) (ok, we would have been saved either way but having a VIP in the rescue did help this time.....) So, now we are the COUNTRY ROAD PUPPIES. Tanya, Waylon, George and Willie we are named after some prolific artists, who started their careers out in the backroad bars and honky tonks and now are living their DREAMS!! We are ready for OUR dreams to come true!! ADOPT ONE of US and we WILL be your bestest crooners ever! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Now some of you youngsters might now remember the name… Little Jimmy Dickens.  He and Brad Paisley had a very special bond where Brad looked up (or down) at this little man who forged an unbelievable legacy in the country music world.  He was not even 5 foot tall but his spirit and his heart was a giant Red Oak.  But just like this short country music legend called Little Jimmy Dickens, this puppy named after him, has a much smaller stature than his siblings and doesn’t lack in personality or intelligence!  He will grow to be a 50-60 pound adult dog.  He is currently almost 3-4 months and well on his way to the ability to be potty trained and trained quickly.  Although these 4 pups were found roaming on a back road, they are far from wanders and have quickly settled into knowing their foster home rules and requirements to live harmoniously! These pups are not roamers or runner risks, but they never leave your side! They have been with small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (guineas and chickens and are just best friends) and aside from an initial curiosity, Little Jimmy and his sibs are overall passive about other animals and kids!   If you would like to make this handsome easy going boy your family companion for the next 15+ years…then email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for an application once you have given  them the location of where you live?  City and state. Story
I took Zeus when a friend was down on her luck until she could get back on her feet. I've had him for 6 months and he is 1 year old. Zeus became a part of our family in no time. The first 6 months of his life he was abused by someone and that is how my friend acquired him to bring him to safety. So Zeus has some issues and we've worked through so many of them already but he has been snappy with my 6 year old step son. So I read that without proper training and with the abuse he endured he has some mental setbacks even though he's done so well the first 5 months he's been with me. He's good with our 1 year old female German Shepherd Bluey. He needs someone that can work with him that knows something about his breed. So my husband gave me less than a week to find him a home or have him put down and that just isn't an option for me. I love that dog so much and I don't want to give him up because I know the good in him he just isn't good with children or stressful atmospheres.

I found this guy on the side of the road hanging out by a mailbox. My neighbor said someone dumped him and he was just sitting there waiting. I felt bad for him and took him home. I cannot keep him because I live in a tiny apartment and am not allowed to have dogs. I have been calling him Buddy. He is super sweet and very smart. He is potty trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. I took him to the vet and he has had his first round of shots. The vet says he is around 7 months old and healthy. He is great with kids. He is a typical puppy. He loves to play and chew on toys and then nap. He loves to snuggle. I really want to find him a happy home with room for him to run.
