Story
Our velvet eared hunk, Barnaby Jones, is still waiting for his happy ending. This pup is the face of resilience and we need your help finding him a forever home. Barnaby requires a dog savvy family with experience (no exceptions). He is a 2 year old (DOB 7/17/22), male, Bloodhound mixed breed. He is good with other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet). His ideal home would not have children under 12 or cats. He’s a very good boy that just needs a chance. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. *PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

Story
Meet me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd. Eastford, CT Meet Maxine! This gorgeous, energetic smart hound gal is looking for her forever family! Maxine is very snuggly and thinks she is a lap dog. In her foster home she is with a bunch of dogs (all sizes) and takes social cues extremely well! She would excel in a home with another doggy friend to play with! Maxine also loves water and rides great in the car! She is spayed, seems to be housebroken, medically up to date and we are guessing she will be over 60lbs when full grown. *Due to state laws regarding out-of-state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts.
