Story
My name is Rosie! I am about 1 year old and unfortunately, I am finding myself in need of another home. My family is going through some things and they can no longer care for me. I am sad... it's a tough dog world out there but I am so hopeful I can get another chance. I am really good girl. I am about 45 lbs. I live with my sister now. We have a great time together! We are not bonded... don't worry. We could* go together but will thrive separately. I do love those kiddos that I spend a lot of time with and would be totally happy having more in my future home. I have lived with kids 3+ and pretty much that is all I have known. I am housebroken, crate-trained, I don't get into trouble at home either! I walk on a leash. I am a little nervous with new people but I do warm up just a little faster than my sister Pokey. If my kids are around and another dog comes along, I do find myself feeling a bit protective. I would love a single family home and a fenced in yard (that's what I am used to!). Story
My name is Oliver. I am Duke's brother and I am one of four. I was the runt of the litter so therefore the "smallest." We are both super amazing dogs. I am about 68 lbs and almost 8 months old. I am not sure how much more I will gain but don't be surprised if I get to 80. to 85. Maybe? I don't SEEM that big because in all reality, I am a big mush. I think my ideal place would be in someone's lap all the time. I am the quintessential gentle giant... no joke. I am totally good with all dogs, I am very neutral. Right now my foster mom has given me some younger puppies to play with... they are so fun! I live with other dogs as you can see and I do great. I want to play but I am not pushy. My favorite thing in my foster home? The kids. Especially the 9 year old kiddo. When she walks in, I light up! I wag my body right over to her! I also like when she sits with me while I eat my dinner. I have definitely been around cats in an outdoor environment but inside, I don't have much experience. I bet I would just be curious. Per my breed I am mild mannered, medium energy and I seek out affection. A lot of it! If you want a dog that will hike miles with you everyday, I won't be it. But, a couple of miles to stroll around the neighborhood, some playtime in the yard, lounging in the sun? I'm in. I'm housebroken and crate trained. I do not have much experience on the leash just yet. To practice my leash skills, a nice harness would be best but we can go slow with that skill. After I settle in and trust my surroundings, the walking part will come. I have been a really nice houseguest in my foster home in NJ and I would just love to meet my new family.
