Story
Best Working Pup! Reese is an hound mix pup (December 2023 birthday) who was adopted from the animal shelter. He is very smart and is house trained and crate trained. He loves all people and other dogs and is very social. He loves to play play play! His favorite games are tug and fetch, and he loves to be chased around the yard! He is pretty independent outside of wanting a few good belly rubs. Why would we want to rehome such a good dog? Due to our schedules, he does not get enough exercise and we want to find him a home with other dogs. We are unable to adopt other pups and Reese loves being part of a pack and to have lots of space to roam and play. We think he would do best with a big yard or farm that where he can run and play. He is so fun and friendly and deserves to have owners who have time to run with him, work him, and play with him! He is up to date on all vaccines and heart worm/flea medicine. He is the sweet playful hound for you!

Story
Nola is pure joy! She’s a bit timid in new situations, but is learning very quickly how great life is in a home. Found as a stray at a rural shelter, you can tell she hasn’t had an easy life. We have no idea how many litters of puppies this poor girl has had. She amazes us with her gentle temperament and desire to be loved. We are enjoying watching her gain confidence and find her hound voice. She is a perfect size around 40 lbs. Nola is house and crate trained, and lets her foster mom know each day just how grateful she is to have this new start to life. **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##2301699##

Story
We're excited to welcome Elloree to CCR! She has quickly made herself comfortable on the couch in her foster home. She's a vocal gal that loves to play with toys. She is very underweight but we know in time, she will return to her full beauty potential! She's young and energetic so a home with another playful dog is a plus. And she doesn't quite understand her size, so smaller kids and dogs may not enjoy her playful antics. Elloree is new to the rescue and we will update her bio as we learn more about her. **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment.
