Meet Ben, a 6-year-old male Plot Hound mix.The staff at YHS think Ben should actually be labeled as Tigger. This bouncy boy has the lovingly innocent personality of the famous story book character as well as the stripes to match. Ben is so charming with his happy-go-lucky style that he is going to bounce right into any adopters heart. Ben did arrive at the adoption center with what is common referred to as "cherry eye." He was pictured prior to his neuter appointment but the cherry eye will be removed at that time. This pet is available for adoption on 8/1/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
