Story
Waldo is a 3 year old dog with a hard beginning. He was surrendered to the rescue we foster for as a puppy. He has been with us since then and has struggled with his anxiety and fear of most things. He struggles to be around other dogs or children, which we have. He is loving and sweet with the grown ups in our family. Children make him nervous as do strangers and other dogs. He tends to play too rough with our cat and has attacked our other dog and children without provocation. He needs a home without children or other pets where he can feel safe. Someone with good training skills would also benefit as Waldo is quick to learn but unreliable and needs close guidance.

Story
My name is AJ and I am estimated to be between 3-5 years old.    I feel so blessed that I was able to get into a rescue after being picked up as a stray and sent to a shelter.    Shelters and rescues all over the country are full so I am very lucky to have been rescued. I am an all natural boy with a full tail.    Sometimes I like to chase it! I am friendly and playful.   I am an adolescent male who needs training and patience.    I need to go to a home with people who have current Doberman experience who have the time and patience to work with me. I cannot go into a home with little dogs or cats. If you are interested in me please go to www.doberescue-ne.orgAll of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.Copyright © 2007 - Omaha Doberman RescueFor more information or to fill out an adoption request please visithttp://www.doberescue-ne.org/August 13, 2024, 11:26 pm

Story
My name is Willow.  You might remember me as so many of your were supportive of me and my babies.  The girls have moved on to their own lives and I must do the same now. I am approximately 3 years old.  I have been spayed and am ready to go! Look at how beautiful am and how well I am doing! I didn’t get much training in my former life so I don’t know a lot of commands but I am more than willing to learn and to please.  I love getting attention from my foster mom and anyone else I meet.  I am a very sweet girl. Now that I’m not raising babies anymore I can just be me.  I am learning what it is like to play and be a bit mischievous at times.  It is nice to be able to do that.  I have done well with my bathroom duties while in foster so when I move on to a new home I should train up easily in that department.  I will need obedience training and some work on leash training. I have been tested with other dogs and did much better with females but it will be important to introduce me and see how it goes. Please go to www. Doberescue-ne.org to read the rules and adoption area and the application can be found there as well.  I am so looking forward to my future life!
