`Levi arrived without any history, so lucky him, he`s landed a foster home so we can find out all about his best traits. Besides being a great cuddly, playful companion and family member, check out what we’ve learned:~~ First off, he’s a perfect medium size of less than 40lbs, ideal for many home types~~Levi’s personality is described as “smart and sensitive”, he wants to please his people and that means he can adapt and learn new things easily~~Levi has done well in one living arrangement with another dog and passes dogs outside nicely~~Levi is able to manage a long day between potty breaks. He also knows how to use a doggie door if you have one. If he`ll be left alone long periods, he`ll appreciate his new people understanding that he needs to know you, as his new people, will be coming back when you leave him, and as with all new fur family members, please plan to allow an adjustment period for him to learn this and the new routines in your place ~~Levi loves walks and runs and if you do too, he’ll be happy to oblige you. He loves walks so much he may get a little zoomie in afterward. He’s calm on a leash but please excuse him if he gets a little starry-eyed for squirrels, which leads in this…~~His fav toy is a tree trunk with 3 stuffed squirrels tucked inside that he can dig out and toss around ~~Levi has been in cat training and he’s undecided if he wants a feline as a fur sibling so check in for updatesAre you ready to fall in love all over again? We have to give him away cause I found out I’m pregnant and we have to move in somewhere where he is not allowed. He is so good literally the best dog. We take him everywhere and he acts so good in public. He is so sweet and LOVES to cuddle. We love him so much.

Bella is a 3 year old spayed female Doberman with floppy ears and a docked tail. She was originally found as a stray (multiple times) and her owner decided it was best to surrender her to our rescue. She is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and spayed. She has been treated for heartworms. Bella is learning manners in foster. We will require an experienced working breed owner as she can be a bit pushy due to lack of prior rules. She’s shown us she learns quite quickly but with her intelligence if she can “get one over on you” she will. She’s VERY smart! She has been around cats and chickens and fit into her foster pack very nicely. She doe well with male dogs, but NOT other female dogs. She is also crate trained and housebroken. Older children would be recommended due to her exuberance but she loves people!

Poppy Rose is a 5 year old red and rust female Doberman with cropped (not standing) ears and a docked tail. She was surrendered to the shelter by her breeder along with two one week old puppies and another adult female and some puppies. Poppy Rose had a hard life living outside and her condition at intake (photo) speaks to that. Her foster mom named her appropriately! She has been recovering well in foster care and continues to dote on her puppies. She is heartworm negative, up to date on Baccines and spayed. Poppy was in horrible shape when she was rescued but has regrown all her coat, gained tons of confidence and blossomed. She absolutely loves children! poppy would be best with a quiet family that has working dog experience. She is not a fan of thunderstorms and she will come with her thunder shirt. She is crate trained and housebroken and has learned some basic obedience. She would be happy to hang out with you all day.

Desi was found with Lucy as a stray in the valley with tightly wound copper wire around his neck. He’s a very social guy, gets along well with other dogs and is crate trained. Due to his exuberance (young male Doberman) we recommend an experienced owner. He is smart and very eager to learn! He loves hanging out with his foster family and is ready for his new family!
