A great friend ,protector , loyal good boy the best personality just hes getting old now and me being old myself I cant take care of him anymore . Dr checked him out a few months back says hes good but getting old. He has a tumour hanging from his leg I dont have 2500 dollars to cut off but dr said,“it’s not dangerous and why put him through that” , he said.. hes just Got arthritis like I do In His joints but when he sees a raccoon you cannot catch him. I can’t believe how he runs when a raccoon is outside and he sees it. Maybe cause I cant walk him to get him healthy ? I want someone else That has energy ,more than me ,to take care of him and love him till he dies cause hes such a sweetheart &he eats four times a day and once at night at 8pm. hes a big teddy bear and loves hugs and love. He’s perfect with kids but supervise please if they are smaller cause hes so strong and loving on him he unwillingly will maybe knock them down cause hes a teddy bear

Story
Little Debbie's life trajectory changed dramatically when she and her seven 2-week-old puppies were rescued out of an abandoned trash filled trailer in rural Central Missouri. She was very thin and a little scared, but she took great care of her puppies and now she deserves the best life we can find for her. As she is settling into her foster home, Debbie is becoming even more happy and affectionate. She sleeps peacefully through the night and wakes up ready to have a great day. Debbie is a blue tick hound/pointer mix. She's believed to be less than two years old and weighs about 50 pounds. Like most hunting dogs, she's very responsive and recalls quickly. Her demeanor is calm and sweet and she loves hanging out with any dog or any person. She is potty trained and leash trained. Little Debbie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $325

Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs!! If you are interested in one of our dogs, please submit an adoption application. An application is REQUIRED to meet our dogs unless you come to a meet/greet event. ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LKR/Dog If the dog is listed on pet sites, it is available for adoption; it is not necessary to call/email to ask if they are available. Meet/Greet Events: You can visit our website to find our when we have scheduled meet/greet events www.luckyk9rescue.org. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have facility for you to come visit our dogs which is why an application is required prior to meeting. Once applications are submitted - if you meet the minimum requirements for the dog you are interested in, the application is forwarded to the foster for their review. It can take time for us and the foster to review all the applications received. This part of the process can take a few weeks, sometimes more. Due to the number of applications we receive for all the dogs/puppies we are not able to respond to everyone as to the status of their application. You will be contacted if you are selected to schedule a meet/greet. Adoption Process: An application is submitted and approved, a meet/greet is scheduled and a home visit is required. The adoption process takes at minimum of a week AFTER your application has been approved and a meet and greet scheduled. If selected as a potential adoptive family you will be contacted by phone, text or email to schedule a meet/greet. Because we are all volunteers and have full-time jobs & families out adoption process does take time. Forever homes are chosen based on the dog's personality and the applicant we feel offers the best fit for the dog. Please be patient with us through this process. Adoption decisions are based input from both the foster family and the board requirements. Adopters are selected based on the best fit for the dog and are not selected on a first come first serve basis. Adoption fees cover: Spay/neuter, clear stool sample, HW test for dogs brought in over 4-mths of age, all required and a clean bill of health from our veterinarian. vaccinations Puppies will have all age-appropriate vaccinations; however, follow-up vetting may be required depending on age but are covered by the rescue at our veterinarian. If over 2 mths of age they are on monthly HW & flea/tick prevention. Our adoption fees vary based on the age of the dog: >>Puppies up to 1yr $350 >>1 yr to 4 yrs $300 >>5 to 7 yrs $250 >>7 yrs and up $200 Who are we: Just like many smaller rescue organizations, Lucky K9 Rescue is 100% volunteer driven. We all work regular full-time jobs and many have families as well. We are foster-based rescue organization, which means all our dogs live in the loving homes of our volunteer foster families. We do not adopt out dogs until they have had time to decompress (typically 3-6 weeks), are fully vetted, we get to know their personalities and ensure there are not any underlying concerns or health issues. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Must own your own home and have a fully fenced back yard - electric or underground fences are not permitted (We do make some concessions regarding fences, but it is on a one-on-one basis and depends on the personality of the dog.

Story
Age: 2 yearsWeight: 55 poundsLocation: FosterMeet Domino! She was found stray heavily pregnant and had 9 puppies February 12 in a loving foster home. When not on Mama duty, she enjoys running in the yard, playing fetch, carrying around toys in her mouth and being loved on by her foster family! She is a great family dog. She is 100% potty trained, is gentle and bonds quickly. She likes to stick close to home and enjoys a comfy couch, especially when she gets to snuggle with a family member! She needs work on jumping but is good on a leash or harness. She seems good with other dogs but has only been observed with the resident senior Chi. She has chased cats but is possibly just imitating what the other dog does . Due to her size and energy, she would be best in a home with older children. Domino is around 2 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She looks like a Catahoula Leopard dog, possibly mixed with Great Dane.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Marbles! She’s a 11 week old female Catahoula leopard dog mix. She is a big girl that loves attention and sleep! She is quickly learning the crate and is doing well with her potty training! Marbles likes to play with the older dogs, but does appreciate attention from humans to get that affection! She will fit in great with any family, but her foster mom thinks she would be great first puppy for kids as she learns very fast and is pretty calm! Mom is a Catahoula mix and about 55 pounds. Dad is unknown, but they probably have some terrier in them.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
