Story
Aberdeen was found as a stray that wandered into a local business. Ever since we've had her, she's been an absolute sweetheart. She's a gentle gal who walks pheromonally on leash, loves truck rides, doesn't mind baths, and gets excited to see kids. Now we're not totally for sure what she's mixed with because she has the markings of a Blue Tick Hound though she is quiet and doesn't bay, but her body type is that of a Labrador. She is very smart and has always kept a clean kennel since we've had her. She does bury her food bowl with her blankets, to save it for later. Aberdeen would make a perfect addition to any household. She can be a total couch potato for a laid back family, or even be a walking companion for an older person. Regardless we're not sure how or why she ended up here wih us, but it has been wonderful getting to love on her.

We were contacted about a beautiful momma Bluetick who had been living outside and having the crap bred out of her. She had several ruptured milk ducts that were open wounds, some of which were necrotic. We got her into the vet as soon as we found out about her, and started her on the road to recovery. She has now been spayed, treated for heartworms and ehrlichia, and her wounds have healed. Despite everything she's endured, Amane is the sweetest, gentlest soul!! She is a medium-energy hound who loves to play as much as she loves to sleep. She is house trained and crate trained, and is extremely food motivated! She will resource guard her food but does just fine eating in her crate. She is a really good girl and would love to settle in with a nice family.
