Story
Meet Burlap, a 1 year old Bluetick Coonhound who loves tug of war, long hikes, his daycare friends, and tearing stuffed animals apart! Burlap will do well in a loving home without other dogs or kids and with an experienced adopter who preferably lives outside of the city. He needs a companion who is willing to do more training with him to stimulate his mind and who has the time and energy to give him lots of exercise. We are rehoming him because he does not get along with our other two small dogs. He resource guards at home but has never demonstrated this behavior outside of our home, at training, or in daycare. We are hoping to find a home for him with someone who understands the joys and challenges of owning a hound. Burlap is whip-smart at training, knows basic obedience commands, and is house trained. He's goofy, loyal, has the floppiest ears, and gives the best cuddles. Some of his favorite things include: the raccoon that lives next door, cowboy hats, and sunny naps.
