You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Teri is a beautiful girl that has been in a shelter most of her life (totaling 4 different shelters since 2022). She is great with kids and dogs of all sizes and ages. She pesters the hell out of cats which is why she is a no for cats (for their sanity as well as hers). She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and while she may be a little shy with new people, she warms up quickly. Her play noises may be a bit much for someone inexperienced with dogs so we do prefer someone comfortable with barking/growling/noisy play to consider adoption. Silas came to us quite thin, we think he's been on his own for awhile. He is a stunning bluetick that doesn't hunt. He is approx. 2 - 3 yrs. old and approx. 50 lbs. He has a funny shorter tail. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals.
