Story
Hello!  I'm Pierre. I'm a sweet and cuddly apricot poodle. I was recently released from a breeder and now I'm ready for a new beginning. My goal now is to find you;  a forever family.  I'm learning potty training but you will need to work with me as I navigate through this. I've discovered toys and treats and I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home. I also do great in my kennel!Since I spent most of my previous time being caged, I spin in circles alot. My foster parents try to tell me to stop spinning or distract me with toys or a treat. When something squeaks or a phone dings, I find myself barking. But, like I said, I'm still navigating this big change! I love to cuddle in your lap and enjoy a comfy warm bed at night, so I feel like this could be the perfect way to end our nights together. What do ya say? Story
I saw you looking at me and you were probably wondering who's that cutie patootie? Well, my name is Maggie Mae and I'm a happy and full of energy little girl. But more than anything else, I'm grateful. Having spent my life pushing out puppies, a lot of things are new like leashes, pottying outside, and playing with toys. But with us working together as a team I can overcome that. While my foster mom and dad are at work, I stay in my kennel and I keep it clean. I prefer to have a buddy close by because I get scared and it's good to have that support! Even though I'm happy to see my foster mom and dad, I'm still kind of shy to go by them. So I'm going to need a patient and loving home to make me feel safe.I like to look and feel my best so regular brushing and haircuts are a must. Don't worry though, I did really well when my foster mom gave me a bath and brushed me out and she even gave me a haircut. She told me that I did better than my sister Riley.Because I’m still gaining confidence, I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can explore safely. Another doggy friend would be wonderful, too—I feel so much braver when I have a buddy to show me the ropes!Remember though, they always say good things come to those who wait. Story
I know, I know, Qtip is kind of a silly name. My foster mom prefers to call me Cutie or Mama. You see, the first 8 1/2 years of my life, I was forced to have puppies over & over. I’m finally free of that, but this new world is very scary for me. When I’m unsure of things (like some movements or unexpected noises), I may bark, growl, or even whine. At times, I even get nervous when you make eye contact with me.With that said, having another dog in the home is beneficial to help me build confidence while also having a companion. I’m working on house training and walking on a leash. Now I may sound like a challenge, right? Let me share some of my positive qualities. I like to be petted gently and talked to in a loving voice. I really like my crate, especially when I share it with another dog. Oh, and I love to eat! Best of all, I want to be near my person and as I've grown more comfortable, I have started running around & wagging my tail! Are you a special adopter ready to help me learn to trust and enjoy life? If so, ask to meet Qtip. You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adoptName: QtipDOB: 01/09/2016Breed: Bichon FriseSex: FemaleWeight: 14 lbsAltered: YesAdoption Fee: 400Good with cats: I'm unsure.
