Story
We took in Toby from our elderly next door neighbor who acquired the dog with intentions of giving to a family member, but fell through. He really is a loving dog within the family, but I believe he needs to move to a home with better resources to consume his energy. His only real faults are digging holes in our yard, jumping to greet unknown people, and likes to bark and pull the leash at other animals that he sees. He also will urinate in his detached garage home that has a dog door, possibly as a sign of insecurity? We have 3 young boys at home who always have friends over, and he has never been a concern with being aggressive with anyone. He really is a loving and kind dog, but is timid at first (possible first home abuse?). We just feel as a family that he needs a more consistent work oriented approach to his well being and with that, would fit in extremely well with any family.
