Story
Melina: Border collie mix weights 48 lbs.   Fully spayed/vaccinated Melina loves car rides and the outdoors!  Loves to catch a ball in mid-air! Long walks and going for hikes and hanging out with her people! She is highly energetic and would benefit from an outdoor environment and other stimulation but takes naps and sleeps all night.   She is protective and alert of her family!  Of her environment and her fur family.   She is loyal and loving And would make a great ranch/farm animal or a lap dog.    She is fully housebroken and enjoys eggs for breakfast. She can benefit from an experienced dog family that can train her with jumping and basic commands but she listens to sit/stay/wait/off. She is fully potty trained and house broken.  Still on her chewing stage but toys help. Raised with cats and another dog and loves on her fur family. Melina wants to please and be loved and is a cuddle bug and will jump on your laps given the chance. If you have a hole in your heart, then look no further.       ##2040990##

Story
Meet Bush! This sweet girl was found tied up and abandoned on Christmas.💔 Luckily, a kind soul found her and is fostering until Bush finds her forever home. Bush is an outgoing, 40lb, adolescent Border Collie mix. She has been doing great with her four-legged foster siblings, and gives nothing but love to her human foster family.🥰 Bush would benefit from an active individual or family that can provide her plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and attention. Bush has been given a clean bill of health, and her foster has had her vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed. Are you ready to make Bush a part of your family? Please submit an application, and we'll get back to you!

Border Collies are considered to be the most intelligent and trainable breed. If you are up to the task and want a companion who is loyal and quick to learn Andy is for you. Adopter should have the time to do training classes with him and have an active lifestyle as they are a working breed,, but 100% worth it.

Story
Hannah is one year old sweet girl who was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. She is on the smaller side, weighing a little over 20lbs.   Little Hannah Banana Montana was listed at the pound as a Border Collie, but she looks more like a Shetland Sheep Dog (Shelty).  Maybe she's a mix of both??? That doesn't matter though. What matters is that she is very cute and very silly.  Hannah loves to play with other friendly dogs.  She would HAVE TO have another dog friend, or a person that works from home and is ACTIVE.  Hannah is also fine with cats, good in the house, and loves to go get coffee and shop at Home Depot.  If you want a dog to live in your yard, don't get Hannah.  Hannah is family. Southpaw rescue is asking for a $250 donation to adopt your new best friend. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting Patches, please fill out an application here: https://www.southpawrescue.com/adoption-application

Story
Cherie is a fun, spunky, smiley girl! She is ready for whatever adventure or challenge, and would thrive in a home that kept her training constant or provided regular mental stimulation. :) She is a very smart dog, and has a bursting personality when she gets to know you. She can be a little shy with strangers initially, but the most practice she gets, the better she gets. She is currently working on her social skills with other dogs and small humans, as she isn't the most comfortable and doesn't really know what to do with them. Overall, Cherie may benefit most from a home with adults, and adults and older/teenage children. We feel with proper introduction, she will do well with other dogs as well. :)
